I remember this movie. I had taped it once when i was a child, obviously and right afterwards was the original Gulliver's Travel. I was sad when i accidentally taped over this.

Barbara Goodson is the english voice of Katy... She was also the voice in "Unico in the Island of Magic." I like the, "Fantastic Adventures of Unico" the best...

I just want to thank Fishman2000. I down loaded this over 20 years ago for my 2 year old son in 1984. I copied it as a Betta tape and lost it. I have been looking for it since 1984. Thank you so much Fishman, my son is married now and has 2 daughters. I will try to copy the story from UTube and put it on a DVD for my grand daughters. Take care.

Actually, it´s a co-production between Mexico and Spain, and was directed by José Luis Moro, one of the greatest names in Spanish animation (and still active to this day at age 83!). The sequel was titled KATY, KATY Y KOKO (released on home video in the U.S. as KATY AND THE KATERPILLAR KIDS).

i haven't watched it yet and before i do i just wanted to say that i LISTENED to this movie each and every day when i was about 5-12 but in sedish. had it on tape and i still have. though i'd love to SEE it in it's entirety in swedish. so if anyone knows where to get it PLEASE PM ME! i'd give ANYTHING for it!

I think that the word 'wow!' would be an understatement. This is THE film of my young childhood. I havn't decided whether to watch it again or not due to the fact I get very nostalgic and I will cry throughout the whole length of the film!
