I have tried this dry burn method once, and am afraid to ever do it again. Rather than cleaning it, it just made it taste like total ass. Like burnt plastic. The same taste you get if you accidently fire your pv in your pocket and don't notice until it's burning you. How do you do this and not get that taste??? I couldn't believe what I was seeing when you did that and then went right back to vaping on it without an issue! Once that burnt taste is there there's no getting rid of it.

I think its worth saying that its best to remove the wick inside the atty if you're planning on cleaning it by dry buring the atty, if not its possible to burn the wick on the atty which makes the whole thing taste like shit and will probably decrease vapour production. I always remove the wick and sometimes remove the bridge of the atty.
hey man got a question, with the 510 atomizer, is it normal for the vapor production and "Hit" to be less over time? I notice the little white O-ring @ the top of the atomizer connection vanishes after a week or so worth of use. Is there anything I can do to help bring back that "hit" back or am I stuck buying a new atomizer. (Im at around 1 a month just for the initial hits you get from a fresh one)
@kingbrandor Are you fucking kidding me? 4 days at 6 dollars a pack of cigarettes is 24 dollars. That atty is what 16 dollars tops shipped to your do(that's on the high side). Some atty die quick, but most last for months which make up for the ones that die quick. The atomizer is a disposable product, but for some reason people don't think that they are.
E-Cigs are different than smoking, and they take time to understand how they work(that includes money wise).

@kingbrandor i also wish they sold them in stores. they have a smokeanywhere kiosk in the mall by my house but all of the products they have suck and are overpriced. i have a titan tornado , got it a little over a month ago and have had no problems with it.they say the attys last from 2 weeks to 2 months and are $15 im still on my first one ( came with 2). cold turkey did not work for me the patch helped but no where near as much as the tornado and at $40 a box they cost more. good luck
@truemirror it's really important that you don't overheat them too much... and you do have to let it cool every 2 or 3 puffs or so to let the liquid re-condense otherwise it gets too dry. Also every 2 days or so you want to blow the atomizer out (if you don't know what that means look it up on youtube) because the liquid resin will build up and effect the performance. Make sure the clean the connector between atomizer and battery here and there, and take a q-tip and clean the charger as well.
@kingbrandor I suggest you keep at it. 1 out of 10 atomizers tend to break quickly, but for the most part they last for 2 to 4 months each. They will have to be replaced eventually, but 4 days is very unusual... and unheard of by my personal experience. I bought the Joye 510 kit with two atomoziers, and have been using it daily for over three months now...I got a bunch of different juices too...peach, watermelon, cuban cigar, caramel, strawberry, red bull. I love it. I should get some more attys though as people keep saying theirs die. Mine are going strong though. Maybe try boiling it - or look up other tips online...

This actually worked, I saw other videos and was afraid of submerging my atty in any type of solution. This is the first video that required none of that, TY this saved me a lot of change and proved to be affective!!
hands down the easiest and best way to clean the 510. I had about 5 "dead" atty's all had about 2-3 weeks use before they "died" all brought back to life with this method. may also want to note that i used a toothpick and scraped out this fiber like material that was down in the reservoir as it was all burnt up. first few puffs after this way of cleaning tasted a little bit burnt but after that theyre working near perfect again...great vid man peace and happy vaping!

im pissed my atmizer broke after having it 4 days . i cant get it to smoke at all . so much for this being a cheaper solution to smoking

I think the atomizer last longer when you drip. Just cause it stays wetter, and when they get dry it can cause them too quit.
Atomizers can last a week too months. They really are throw away parts.
