- I braked hard to avoid second crash and it worked :)

- Notice how I take some lines significantly different to others, I mix 3 different lines together :P lol

- I was being attacked before by two people because I was apparently speed hacking because I was winning all the races (It was F3) so I went onto skype and called 4 friends to come on and we teamed up and crashed them both they started getting angry so I said I will drive normally, so i did friends didn't :P lol

Yes, Manual shifting. I always do manual shifts as I can downshift sometimes instead of tapping the break.

My friend said that it looks like it's on auto but it's not you might be able to notice on my downshifts

Manual gives so much more control over the car. Far too many times the computer goes either lazy, or is too careful and passive to downshift and shift back up quickly to kick the engine into the sweet spot, or to exit a corner properly within the rev range. I understand the auto-mode governing algorithm has to be careful as to not surprise you though (i.e. when you're negotiating the apex and push the throttle to the limit and it shifts down to accelerate screwing your mid corner)...

@sebleton some settings you can turn off and improve your speed... but manual gears I'd say no.

Everyone online races with assists. The game's crazy lateral grip gives you too much of an advantage with assists.

- The lateral grip is far to good for some, but they have to setup the 'advanced controls' correctly and have to turn to the right speed/angles

- I for one, can race with or without assists and Im very good with both, I never really get beaten on F1/F3 but for GT1, Ebay...etc I get beaten alot due to how unrealistic the car handels.

i just love watching americans vs england, haha theres always conflicts and crashes between them. i would like to have a more stricter penalty system though, and i cant wait for F1. I was hoping for a GRID 2 announcement, i really hope they will continue with the GRID series.

Thank you for your comment, I was being attacked in all the previous races, I was playing again today and about 8 german players, about 7 of them were attacking me.

I cant wait until the F1 game CodeMasters are creating as hopefully it will have some penalty's for cutting corners, slipstreaming (it doesn't work in GRID) the people using racing line do better than those who don't and also you have to keep your tires hot but skidding and sliding will degrade the tires.

I hope in F1 2010 there are all the Rules from the original F1. Hope so. If they do it, then all races are fair.

I just hope that they will have a HUGH quantity of tracks and a way for people to make tracks...
