You'll need extra consumables for yourself (not likely to happen) and it's much harder on energy.

exactly, you need a minimum of 15, which eles can only go to 12. so you'll need cons plus the holiday items to do this on ele.

i would of personaly waited for the 3 groups to spawn then kill as it would kill them faster

Yes you're correct.

However, the plains area needs two terras to complete the quest since the four horsemen attack on both sides of the reaper.

how do you have it to where you got unlimited shadow form?

Deadly Paradox (33% faster skill recharge), Essence of Celerity (25% faster skill recharge) and Grail of Might (+1 to all attributes) enable you to have unlimited shadow form.
