Notice all are Nintendo games... I wonder why people love Nintendo so much. The only games I can play from them anymore are the sports games, the karts, and Smash Bros. Every other one is just a rip off from a past game in the series. Just saying.
@SymphoniaFan101 I understand what you are saying but there is always this new creative concept for the games. And at least they are good games. For example. Metroid Prime was well, metroid prime. Then Metroid Prime 2 had a really kool light world dark world element. and Metroid Prime 3 had the awesome wii controls. I think call of duty releases the same darn game each year too, just slaps on a title and a new gimmick. But thats just my opinion

gamecube really had an array of shitty tittles.... most third party devs went with sony(ps2) thats when nintendo began sucking... the gamecube was an awesome invention, very fun, smash bros being my all time fav game on it. :D the top selling games were mostly nintendo tittles becuase no company wanted to touch this cube i duno why... had sucxh great potential, it did get some good tittles but the ps 2 outclassed it with better tittles like MGS series, Kingdom Hearts series, GTA series, etc...

@cooldude8912 it was the most unenjoyable experience ive had sir @ owning the Wii... the wii mote is very uncordinated and off balance anyways... literally u can play wii sports bowling or any wii sport game by laying on the couch and flicking the remote it doesnt even have to point at the tv and u can get a full strike in the bowling games... when i first got it i really got into it like as if i was bowling and i missed... when i dont even point it at screen i get hits (WTF?)

@elliethejib No it wouldn't. Most of the Nintendo fanbase (the ones that remind me of the Sonic fanbase right now) and the gaming community HATED the Gamecube and favored the PS2. The same thing happened with N64 and PS1 (though Saturn sold a lot worse than the N64).

It's like the NES all over again, but the problem is, there's no more good games. There's maybe a handful of Wii games worth having compared to other systems, and that's why it's failing. It's the system everyone has, but no one plays. Nintendo shouldn't release the Wii U and should just concentrate on better games.

@w1o5w6 I guess in the end it is all opinion. Mario 3 happens to be one of my favorite games of all time, but so does Halo 1 and Sly Cooper. It all depends on what you are into, and I just happen to be into just about every genre.

in my opinion i think that the best selling game the game cube ever got was super smash bros melee because it actually mixed best selling nintendo characters from their own games.....so my opinion is that they should consider adding more characters from other video game companys and making the smash bros series mortal as the best game of the world
I hate metroid prime. Monotonous back tracking,scanning and getting lost all the damn time. Now that I got that out of the way, Game cube had one of the most compelling libraries last gen, I love the gamecube.

Even till this day I play the GameCube. Reason being is I never really got the chance to experience the console, but now, it's like crack. I know everyone is playing Xbox 360 and the PS3, thought I have to say, I have more fun with the previous generation of consoles than today's just because the games innovate you instead of just shooting out graphics with the same shit.

@AltShiftSpam Well, I'd recommend you Tales of Symphonia, Metroid Prime 1 but it comes in Metroid Prime Trilogy so not that one, Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean, Baten Kaitos Origins, Super Mario Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, Zelda Wind Waker, Metal Gear Twin Snakes, Starfox Adventures and Starfox Assault, Resident Evil Remake, Prince of Persia, the three games, Bloody Roar Primal Fury, and well I'd go on, but check those 1st xD

@CeeHeezy true but a game is classic when you can play it many years after release,crash bandicoot wrote history as well but people after so many years still play mario 3 or sonic 3 not crash bandicoot,when crash came out back in 97 or somewhere there I was blown away but now I can't even touch it.Put on a game simple gameplay and controls and everyone is going to play them for years.Halo was good try to play halo 1 and play doom for instance,not the same,doom is pure joy

@w1o5w6 I guess in the end it is all opinion. Mario 3 happens to be one of my favorite games of all time, but so does Halo 1 and Sly Cooper. It all depends on what you are into, and I just happen to be into just about every genre.

i really prefer any nintendo system to the wii i own every nintendo console nes n64 gamecube and wii i also own an xbox out of these i play the xbox as much as the gamecube but they are all great the wii is okay i really hate the remotes and the games arent as good except for the ones originally for gc and like i said i prefer controllers however the wii has got some great games like super mario galaxy for example

I hate metroid prime. Monotonous back tracking,scanning and getting lost all the damn time. Now that I got that out of the way, Game cube had one of the most compelling libraries last gen, I love the gamecube.

Honestly I considered prime "bastards" of the series so I skipped them because they all had the same issue. Give me Super metroid,Other M,Metroid Fusion and I got all the metroid I need :D.

i wish the gamecube wouldve had a longer life span then it had. it was really good anf fun to ALL players, either from kids to adults. Yah the wii's alright but Nintendo tryed way to hard with the motion sensing and more gimmicks. I wish Nintendo would just stick to their basics and go back to standard controls on their next console when they announce one. Nintendo was really good and still is but it dropped a lot of fame when the Wii came.

best GC games in my opinion: LoZ: Twilight Princess (windwaker fuckin sucked chicken ass), Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes, Metroid Prime, Time Splitters 2, Ocarina of Time Master Quest. Oh and mario sunshine sucks ass too. ill always stick with mario64 and original mario bros
