Hey,is there any way to make the icons show on the desktop again?I can't seem to find a way to bring them back.I tried copying and pasting from the Desktop folder but it says that they are already there(already tried the same with the toolbar closed and it says the same).
This is actually pretty cool. I'm not going to use it right now but maybe sometime in the future. It could come in handy and it is not an extra program. It is sort of like rocketdock except smaller.
Hi, how to back down our start icon bar from the buttom portion on the screen? right now our start icon is on the right side screen.. we dont have wide screen on the computer like to put it back where normally place at the buttom part ..Thanks!!!
Might be helpful if you actually paid attention to the video before commenting. Nowhere was any other software or "extra prgramme" mentioned. It is using a folder in xp.
Rocketdock and Stardock have their advantages but I don't care to have something additional installed when I don't need it. I like the way this bar is unobtrusively small.
I discovered how to do this not long ago, but was wondering if you knew how to get the small icon view to show the full names of the applications. If you have a folder for example with a really long name you won't be able to see all of it, but I saw a screenshot of someone who had very long icon names and was still able to see the full name.
There are 2 things I can think of. 1 - you can click on the bar and drag it out a bit... or 2 - I believe you can change the font to a smaller one in your display properties, but it would change the font in all folders, not just the toolbar. I would be interested in seeing a screenshot.
can you help me? for some reason the WHOLE task bar is on the side of the screen and i want it back on the bottom of the screen where it was. How do i do that?
If you want to put it back then right click on your desktop. Go to 'arrange icons by' then put a check in 'show icons'. Then to get rid of the bar on the side of the screen right click on a blank area of it (I go to the top of it) and click 'close toolbar'
So basic, but okay! =D

@adrianromansa Do the same thing you did to hide them. Right click on the desktop, click arrange icons, click show icons.

is there a way to auto hide it like th toolbar?
mrdreamers4u 2 years ago
What's the point of this? If you don't like icons on the desktop just delete the things, or put them on the taskbar instead.
Surely running an extra programme which takes up memory, to achieve something which one can already do in Windows very easily, seems rather backwards.

cool, but how do u use it on vista..
ancientmax2008 3 years ago
For Vista:
1. Right-click on a blank area of the desktop
2. Select New Folder
3. Drag this New Folder to right side of the screen and let go. The toolbar should run down the side of your desktop.
4. Right-click the new toolbar and select Toolbar then Quick Launch
5. Right-click the new toolbar again and unselect New Folder
6. Right-click taskbar at the bottom of the screen, select Toolbars, and unselect Quick Launch.
