Personally I thought Batman Returns ending was pretty freaking awesome. I hated the whole running towards the camera crap with the bat signal in the back... should've expected the Adam West music to start playing.

I liked this ending better. They really need to do a "Director's Cut" or even "Tim Burton's Cut" on this film - there are heaps of unused scenes that could have made this film much stronger, and now no one would care whether or not it was marketable to a family audience.

This one pay homage to the First film, I wish, personally, that this ending would've been used. Then again, I also wish that WB kept Burton and Keaton, respectively attached as director and lead. Nice touch on the ending!

@ableclair Burton was still connected as Producer, so techincally he could have made any changes he want, considering he was paying for it. Don't know about Keaton, he doesn't really look the part of Bruce Wayne to me

@ableclair Keaton wasn't cut down by WB, he leaved the project because WB took Burton off(and this was a HUUUUUUUUUGE mistake)

This movie would have been perfect if Burton didn't get out.
