This piece is so unique... 80s-90s... everything was in the right place at the right time. Great machine, great musicians and fresh ideas. Oh, and don't forget limited 3 voice polyphony which revealed surprisingly unlimited soul.

In Last Ninja 2, the cataclysmic music score for the last levels have echoes if this tune. It's incredibly well done, and gives me chills every time.

What a series of games. You just don't get this creativity in games anymore.

Not only the fantastic music, but look at this game, with the corpse carrying the the item, the heron standing there, the cherry trees in blossom..

Consider that this game was released back when video games still said bleep bloop and featured glowing monochrome enemies... then comes one of the first proper adventure games. Amazing.

I guess a lot of us did that back then.

To me the whole soundtrack is a great example of awesome classic game music.

This tune in particular though was always my favorite, if I think of "Last Ninja" this is what first comes to my mind.

me. its the same with last ninja 3 theres a kinda chorus bit in the first level... it sounds... too low... its hard to explain.
