Jesus Christ has returned. I AM.

The Lords return will come UNEXPECTEDLY. And when people are saying everything is PEACEFUL and SECURE.

Therefore it can't come "unexpectedly" and during a time of "peace" if there is chaos in the world. Verse 9 says: God is not going to pour His ANGER out on us.

So we will be spared from the days of Tribulation because He will deliver us.

We are suppose to encourage each other with these words. -Verse 11

8 But let us who live in the light be clearheaded, protected by the armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation. 9 For God chose to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not to pour out his anger on us. 10 Christ died for us so that, whether we are dead or alive when he returns, we can live with him forever. 11 So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.

4 But you arent in the dark about these things, dear brothers and sisters, and you wont be surprised when the day of the Lord comes like a thief.[b] 5 For you are all children of the light and of the day; we dont belong to darkness and night. 6 So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay alert and be clearheaded. 7 Night is the time when people sleep and drinkers get drunk.

1 Thessalonians 5:3 (NLT)

2 For you know quite well that the day of the Lords return will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night. 3 When people are saying, Everything is peaceful and secure, then disaster will fall on them as suddenly as a pregnant womans labor pains begin. And there will be no escape.

This will be when the Tribulation is upon us. You must have peace with that becuz you are a believer and you will not have to suffer thru it.

The church will face Tribulation from the Antichrist and his followers. After this time the church will be raptured and then God will pour out His wrath on the unsaved. Christians have faced Tribulation throughtout the centuries ... we in the West have been protected from it so far. I have heard that 500 people a day are killed for their faith but not in our countries. The Antichrist will bring this persecution to all countires as he will rule the world.

Well how is He suppose to come as a "thief in the night" if EVERY eye will see him? It's because it is 2 different events. The 1st time He comes will be so quick that no one here left in earth will actually see Him, but yes during the 2nd coming is when "every eye WILL see him" becuz this time He will not remain in the clouds but will actually come down with His armies to defeat the Anti-Christ.

Again, read 1 Thess 5:4-7 and you will see that He comes like a thief only to the unsaved. The church will be on the lookout for Him as Jesus said in Matt 24:25 that He has told us all these things. Every eye will see Him ... the saved will be caught up to Him and the unsaved left behind to face God's wrath.
