you guys have a way different version than the one we are doing...hmmm. ours is just different and has a descant which i do-its fun, too bad your version doesnt have it.
Listen here cockbites. Their instructor TOLD them to go on stage like that. Why? I don't fucking know. Maybe I'll ask him. But for christ sake STOP BITCHING! Are you really whining that much about how they got on stage? Jesus tap dancing Christ get over it. What matters is the performance itself. Btw he wouldn't have had them go on stage like that at an MPA performance or ACDA. He did it for a home concert probably because he thought it would be cute. My point: get a life and stop bitching.
i am 13 years old ...... and even I KNOW ! NEVER EVER EVER to get on a stage like that ... and frankly i think my choir sounds wayyy better then this .. use taller vowels people and work on the french ! buttttt good try =D
Don't be offended, but the sound was far too spread. Not to mention the french could've been better. The skipping on the stage doesn't do much for me, it's somewhat bothersome, actually. Please work on your entrances, musicality, and diction.
Still though, they shouldn't have gotten on stage in that manner. The Audience sees the choir before it performs, so you have to make a good impression on them before you perform.
Our director told us the song was written to be sung by little French girls. So to portray this he told us to skip on stage and play hand games during the intro lol. to was very effective.
Ahh...see ours told us not to make fools of ourselves,(since we already have to wear blue robes which make us look like blueberries), at the concert earlier tonight and Festival on Thursday.
Weird, thats EXACTLY what my direct tells us. He says that the audience and the judges have an impression on you by the way you walk on stage, no matter the type of song.
Frankly, your comment sounds like an insult toward your home audience. If I were in that audience, I wouldn't be impressed by this performance, and if you think it's "only" a home concert, then I would really be disappointed. You should strive to be at your best for every performance. Other constructive criticism: I agree with other posters that your choir should work on your vowels especially, but also your pronunciation of the french.
@cutecheerleader17 , I'm doing that song in chior, and we sound WAY better. And note I'm a 7th grader.

they forgot the snaps and why did they come on stage in that manner if it was a competion they would get a low score
cutecheerleader17 4 years ago
it was a home concert. and we used claps instead of snaps.
