  • vidiazo

  • Wtf bro, why are you even comparing OF and Wutang? They dont want to be compaired, so why are you ignorant fucks arguing about it?

  • @Rahbekkk it was tyler the cocksucker who compared them. but i agree.

  • only thing that tyler the cocksucker and wolfwank have in common is that there black, otherwise fuck off!

  • @YoungGangsta98 Tyler and his little elves aren't half as black as the Wu-Tang :P

  • this is fucking awesome

  • agreed younggnick69

  • anybody else agree that tyler the creator and the wolf gang have much in common with wu-tang????

  • @youngnick69 yeah that the black

  • @youngnick69 No

  • @youngnick69 No, Wu-Tang has it's own unique style that crushes tyler the cocksucker and wolf gang.

  • @LachanceJay i love both. whats wrong with that?

  • @LachanceJay Don't talk shit about Golf Wang. They have their own style so they get respect. Just cause you don't like them doesn't mean you gotta diss them fuck boy. And Method even says he fucks with them so stop bullshittin you fucking clown.

  • @oMaGiicX1 chill out!! dude dnt troll be w,w,w, t,c,d

  • @MrSpoakz Im not trolling, just saying if you don't like an artist don't talk about them, simple as that. Tyler the creator is a god in his own lane. Him and Wu-Tang shouldn't be compared. Everyone just needs to STFU and listen to the amazing sounds these gods bestowed upon us.

  • @LachanceJay Just so we're clear, Tyler won best new artist and is consistently critically acclaimed while the album this track is from got 2 stars from Allmusic and 3 stars from HipHopDX. Nothing to brag about.

  • @HipHopHead187 The problem with that comparison is that Kool G Rap is a golden age rapper. As in he laid the ground work for all these other guys. That also means that there weren't a lot of people before him, so how do you measure his qulaity? Comparing it to a select group of people. Wayne is a 2000s rapper, not only is he being compared to WAY more guys, he has also released so much music he is just copying himself at this point. And both of these guys have Best Rap albums.

  • @strongbad93 & ur rite Kool G rap is from a different era but yes there were a lot of MCs before him. & its obvious, u measure da quality of an artist based their quality of music. & ur measuring an artist based on numbers (sales, number of music made, years in da game, fans...etc..) . U truely measure an MC by their work. Like I sed Lil wayne has more sales & fans, So ur gonna sit there & tell me that lil wayne is betta than Kool G rap?

  • @strongbad93 U know wat since u wanna talk bout "ERAS", Lets make it equal, How bout 50 cent? I know he's originally from da 90's but he emerged in da 2000s(just like lil wayne),So now that its equal, Ur gonna tell me lil wayne is betta than 50? Cuz honestly he would bring betta quality than lil wayne.

  • @HipHopHead187 You are comparing 50 cent to Lil' Wayne. That comparison is wrong in sales (Get Rich Or Die Trying moved like 15 million worldwide), actual ties to drugs and the gangster lifestyle (obviously 50 was shot 9 times and then the guy who shot him was murdered) and image since lil wayne wears skinny jeans etc. But if you go rap for rap Wayne has some greats, Da Drought 3, No Ceilings.

  • @strongbad93 Wayne used to have great wordplay at one point, now he is just a punchline because of his image and I think the sheer amount of drugs has trashed his brain. While 50 used to be as gangster as it gets and now he does tracks with Jeremih and whatnot.

  • @strongbad93 damn ur really thick headed, im not talkin bout da numbers, its da quality...but look who im debatin, a lil wayne fan. It seems that every lil wayne fan goes hard or justifies his music wen in fact he's garbage. I think any real Hip Hop fan would agree. numbers do not measure quality, Quality equals quality & thats that. but im done, dis has turned out 2 be an argument over preferences of quality.

  • Read that post again. I mentioned album sales, image, ties to crime and the gangster lifestyle. I clearly talked about things other than sales and you just straight-up ignored them. You are mistaken.

  • @strongbad93 And as for quality did you miss the part where I attempted to focus on his rhymes, his wordplay? You are talking about an artist who you think sucks without knowing much about his content.

  • @HipHopHead187 Garbage? 25 BET hip hop awards won, 4 grammy awards won, 2 ASCAP awards (you should look that one up), 7 BMI awards won.

  • @HipHopHead187 I know the track 'Industrial Revolution' yeah yeah I get it. The problem is that you just said if someone goes platinum and they don't have a message then people are stupid. What about great beats? What about someone who used to be a huge deal and so even though some new cd sucks people still buy it? Too many factors.

  • @strongbad93 Too many factors or not they make a great difference.

  • @HipHopHead187 So then are you saying that you only do hip-hop with a message? Cause there isn't a lot of that coming out these days.

  • @strongbad93 No, there are sum gray areas in that aspect, Ill give u that there isnt a lot of music wit a message these dayz.

  • @HipHopHead187 And what sets Tyler apart is that he makes some just plain gross raps. Talking about violence and rape. With the Best New Artist award he was actually surprised. I mean, the guy makes statement about trading R. Kelly his kid sister for a hit song. He is most certainly a different breed.

  • @strongbad93 I agree,he's very different. Im actually a fan of Tyler but my point is regardless of who it is, commercial success doesnt alwayz mean they're a good artist. Like I sed theres a new generation of fans & they will acknowledge that artist of their generation whom they like or admire. So that just because sum1 approves or prefers that artist over any1 doesnt really they're a good or best artist.

  • @HipHopHead187 "Just because someone approves or prefers that artist over anyone doesn't really mean they're a good or best artist." So just because you prefer KGR over Wayne doesn't really mean KGR is a good or best artist.

  • @HipHopHead187 True. Commercial success doesn't always mean they're a good artist, but it's the only factual way to measure their work. Numbers are really it. Even though we both know that KGR is like Eric B. and Rakim or Slick Rick (a founding father of the game) it's all just opinions. Calling something a masterpiece may be accurate, but it isn't necessarily fact.

  • @HipHopHead187 However you feel, other members of the game like Lil' Wayne. I don't think everything he touches is gold, he has terrible songs, but he also has good albums that are reviewed well, sell well and are even liked by other more real members of the game. And it was a good debate until you tried to tell me I was like other Lil Wayne fans. I mean really man? Come on.

  • @strongbad93 Dont take it personal & u have bad taste in Hip Hop if ur a fan of lil wayne & it is my opinion as much as it is urs in taste. I think we both can agree 2 that.

  • @HipHopHead187 So does that mean that Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, Drake, Wale, Kelly Rowland, Nicki Minaj, Fat Joe, Destiny's Child etc. have bad taste in hip-hop?

  • @strongbad93 So Just because Tyler won best new artist or got praised by critics or millions of fans dont make him a good artist.

  • @HipHopHead187 How else do you measure the quality of an artist? Album sales, awards and critics. Otherwise you are just saying that you are right over thousands or millions of people with no real argument.

  • @strongbad93 Well millions of fans that used 2 be a Hip Hop head just dropped their Hip Hop morals & sold out 2 catchy tunes. So yea im rite over those fans that like that "wack shit" Theres not 2 many tru Hip Hop fans where they wont sell out. re-read da comparison concept & u'll know wat i mean.

  • @HipHopHead187 EVERYONE sells out. Everyone. Eminem went from being gross and one-of-a-kind to doing tracks with P!nk. When Jay-Z was a teenager he shot HIS OWN brother for trying to steal his chain but in 2009 released "Young Forever." Everyone sells out. Fans, artists, everyone.

  • @strongbad93 I agree partially, but not all Did Mobb deep sell out? did Kool G rap sell out? Did Big Daddy Kane sell out? & dont bring Era in2 da question becuz there are still relevent 2day. Maybe u dont hear as much music as I do but believe me they are. Nas maybe did sell out. Jay-z def. did. Eminem....etc.

  • @HipHopHead187 "Maybe you don't hear as much music as I do" did you forget all the previous posts in this debate? Of course I hear as much music as you, otherwise this conversation wouldn't have lasted this long. And I will give you Mobb Deep, Big Daddy Kane and Kool G Rap. But these are artists who aren't popular anymore, honestly. Not on the radio, not really garnering a lot of anything. Mobb Deep's last actual album was '06 and they supposedly have another coming this year.

  • @strongbad93 Thats funny that ur tellin me that i 4got da previous posts when ur u dont even answer my questions & get off topic wit irrelevant info. Ur rite they're not popular anymore becuz dis generation doesnt know da tru Hip Hop. According 2 u u think that dis new shit is hot or da best. Arent u tryin 2 defend da new generation music?

  • @HipHopHead187 Absolutely. Jay-Z put out masterpieces in the early 2000s (Blueprint received 5 mics) as well as Nas and Eminem. True gangster rap still exists. Clipse, Styles P, other members of The L.O.X. and Dipset. Still tons of guys making gangster music in the last few years, largely from NYC. I would take Ghostface's solo work from the last 6 years over anything by U-God.

  • @HipHopHead187 You mentioned 3 different artists/groups whose hey day has passed. So I'll say that 'everyone' is a stretch. Just the vast majority of people in this genre.

  • @youngnick69 no

  • @youngnick69 no

  • @youngnick69 Of course, Wu Tang is one of their biggest influences! It's all Love, it's all Hip Hop

  • @youngnick69 they won't ever touch wu-tang
