Yes, but it's hard and doesn't work too well. It's one of the sections in the drop down menu 'view' or the one to the right of it. You have to know the right geo. coordinates and altitude, heading and speed to set the plane to get a good landing set up.

@Patryk1306 yes go to : Location> In air> And set up the runway, altitude, speed etc. The aircraft engine will be off, you will have to switch it on immediately though!!!

it was preset like that. the camera view has to be part of the plane if you want a seat view or any other special view, or else you just get the basic camera views.

Wrong. Flight Gear has the realism turned way up, including left turn syndrome. I do prefer FSX though.

You can't control the rudder with a joystick. You need pedals.

How did you get rain effect?  Every time I put it on, FG crashes on me. Same for Snow. How did you do it?

In the pull down screen where it shows rain/snow. I put up either one to its highest, and if the weather is right it will snow or rain, depending on which slider I put down.
