  • Respect for the video!!!

  • HaHa what if it runs out of gas in the air???

  • @dragonslayerkevin Then you glide down and land anywhere you like. It will land at almost a complete stop so you can literally land the thing in a pile of rocks no problem. It also has up to a 12:1 glide ratio so that if your motor dies only 500 ft up you can glide over a mile before you have to land.

  • Very fast flying car, heh, just imagine!

You are driving to ur work and u r already late, so u speed up. The police cars are chasing u, and u just fly away lake Fantomas!

    Problem, officer?

  • Epic Landing bro

  • cool

  • Nice piloting

  • Looks like Gordon Freemans ride in Half-Life 2!

  • whats the shoe string do?

  • Ah, I want to do this sooooo bad! Too bad the Mouse here in Anaheim doesn't pay very well!

  • @filmmaker91361 You gotta do it someday! It will change your life when you touch a cloud with us., Keep in touch, and when things get better we will set you up with some lessons!

  • how much does a basic flyer cost?

  • @iammdeepak1 There are so many options to choose from, both new and used! This is Rob, the marketing guy for Dell and U-Turn. Please give my boss Dell a call so he can recommend the best equipment based on your needs, weight, experience, etc. Dell is the #1 pilot in the world and a dealer for ALL major brands, so he can point you in the right direction. His number is 800-707-2525. Let him know you spoke to me so he knows what's going on. Take care and please keep in touch!

  • i want one

  • @sparky1570784 Let's get you up in the air then! Call me so we can setup some lessons and get you some gear! 800-707-2525 -Dell-

  • Are these street legal...?

  • you sir are my new hero

  • is this only for the US, is there anywhere u can fly these in scandinavia or norway??

  • @geppegep Yes you can fly them over there no problem. Fun stuff man!!

  • @imasuper0308 Are these street legal?

  • when you are in the air do you always have to steer the trike with your arms ?.I see you useing your feet to turn when landing, and i understand the rear brakes to turn.My question is do your arms get tired from pulling on the cords to steer after a period of time.

  • @handy3112 Once you get up you don't even really have to steer. You can just steer by leaning your body as it can also be controlled with weight shift. If you do a lot of controling though such as in extreme low level flying then it depends on your glider. Lower end gliders can indeed wear your arms out if you throw them around a lot. The high end gliders handle effortlessly and you can fly them all day without getting tired. Fun stuff!!

  • wow it seems like athrilling ride, i'd be freaking out the whole time...are they hard to fly? and do u need a special licence to fly these?

  • @Timgeo84 If that looks scary then this probably isn't the sport for you. They are super easy to fly if you get proper training and zero people have ever been injured or killed in them. It is extremely safe and fun but if just watching it makes you scared then aviation probably isn't for you as it isn't for sissy girls:). lol. My 14 year old daughter flies and she doesn't freak out. Perhaps it is just you haha. teasing...

  • @imasuper0308 I just watched a video(not one by superdell) where an S-Trike had a pretty nasty crash.Total damage...a $55 dollar part designed to absorb the impact.Ray Charles could probably install the new part in about 5 minutes. There was ZERO damage to the Flat-Top,wing,and the rest of the S-Trike. The pilot didn't get a scratch.Dell, when you talk about the SAFETY of the Flat-Top and S-Trike,I thought it was the salesman comming out in you. This other persons video made me a true believer.

  • haha a boat speed indicator nice

  • @leviterande That's actually an aviation GPS. Works nice.

  • is it street legal?

  • Yes you can take off and land from pretty much anywhere with an ultralight. There are very few rules at all. It is really nice.

  • omg where you get that

  • @classicroom100 Just call the number 800-707-2525 from anywhere in the USA or 801-631-1731 globally.

  • what age do you have to be to operate one of these?

  • @IWATCH2MUCHTV97 There is no age limit at all, no certification required and no licensing or registration. Just get one and learn how to fly it. Fun stuff!!!!

  • Can I fly to the liquor store in it? This is great because police can't pull me over!!

  • @Boneslinger88 thats funny as hell

  • is it legal to fly one of these anywhere?

say i wanted to get to my friends house across town. could i fly it over the freeway and over trees to get there?

  • @neji021 In the US there are a couple simple FAA rules. You can't fly over a congested area, so if something falls off the unit you can't ever put yourself in a position where it would land on someone or endanger anyone. Then just stay out of restricted airspace like major airports. Other than that you are wide open to go pretty much anywhere you like.

  • @neji021 sadly no and here are the reasons

    1: noise

    2:noise

    3:noise

thats the only answer you really need to know ya its kinda stupid

  • Can I buy this in EU?

  • @zemers Yes this is available anywhere.

  • that looks like the flats in alaska? i was to live in wasilla and always saw you guys buzzin around out there.

  • damm i like this thing. i want one

  • Great video!!!

    I have a few questions:

    1. is it easy to control?

    2. Im 14, so would i be able to find a kit that would fit me, or do they just make them for adults?

    3. Is it easy to land?

    4. What powers it? In the video, i think its a fan, but you know for sure.

    5. How big are they? Compare it to a 2 door jeep. Is it the same size? Bigger? Smaller? Would it fit in a garage?

    Let me know!!

  • @CharlieSabaitis Yes they are very easy to control once you get proper training, yes this one will work just fine for you, we also have a backpack model that would work awesome too, my 13 year old daughter flies it. It is powered by a small 2 stroke engine, very simple and reliable. The S-Trike in this video is about the size of an ATV but the backpack unit is small enough to fit in the trunk of a sports car. Fun stuff. Give me a call anytime if you like. Dell 800-707-2525

  • @imasuper0308 Your video is incredible. Years ago I took flight training to get my pilots license. It was only after the training that I found out just how expensive owning a cessna is. With the costs for insurance, fuel and storage, I was never able to afford owning my own plane. Is there a way to buy an ultralight in bits and pieces to spread to cost out over the coarse of a couple years?

  • @Thinkify1 Yes, there a several parts that make up this unit. Wing, Trike, Power Unit and reserve. Each one can be purchased individually. Give me a call anytime if you want to talk about it. Dell 800-707-2525

  • Now if only you could enclose the cockpit make it big enough for 4 people and add AC and a radio tada flying car

  • awesome dude thats cool

  • 6:03 crazy good pilot

  • man thats the cooles thin ever

  • this will be my first aircraft, my gramps was a test pilot in the us navy and now he flys helicops for fun so im goign to buy this first

  • Where do you live? You sure have a lot of open space!

  • @Catagator This is filmed on Utah Lake just south of Salt Lake City, UT

  • who is the driver?

  • how do you control the speed of the engine?

  • What is the GPS type unit called? Do you prefer something cheap that can tell me the accurate altitude that I am flying at? Wait there is an iPhone app, which probably does not work, but do you know of anything. I'm getting/will kill myself if I don't (just kidding) one like this and wanted to know where I am at when I am flying above Earth, lol, thanks.

  • That is the 296 Garmin. It is the shiznit for aviation. Very slick unit.

  • This video is really speeded up. No paraglider wing flies that fast. LOL.

  • It is a glider so no engine is required. Yes if the motor were to die you just float down and can land at almost a complete stop pretty much anywhere. That's why it is soooo cool. It is about the only aircraft that can be safely flown very low to the ground. if the motor dies you just flare and land. If you really stuff the brakes on landing you can drop the canopy behind you and it becomes a huge drogue chute that stops you instantly. Very cool!! 800-707-2525

  • Guess I found my hobby. Sure beats sky diving.

  • I love skydiving but yes this is waaaay better. Skydiving is over in a couple minutes. The fun part is the last seconds of swooping. With this you can swoop the ground ALL DAY LONG. Freaking awesome!!! Also if you hit something or screw up a landing the S-Trike will cover your butt. Lot's of crumple zone to absorb impact. Pretty stupid proof and tons of fun.

  • Great job man !

Can i ask you a question ? as a disable with only one arm fully operative :) can you think a way that a one armed person can fly this ?

  • Yes I can fly this aircraft one handed no problem at all. Just watch a couple videos back and you will see me operate it that way. You put the throttle and both brake toggles in the one hand. Then you can fly. I've seen a one armed guy flying before. Seems to be no problem.

  • Hi dell. Just an idea for your next video. Any chance of a video of your paramotor being switched off in the air and using thermals for lift.

  • good luck with powerlines ;)

  • Love it looks like a lot of fun man

  • Cool man! Crazy fun. When you going to get the tandem trike? It would be cool to see you take some one on a tandem flight.

  • Just look back through my videos and you will see that this trike IS tandem capable no problem at all. Works awesome.

  • The best powered paraglider on earth. I love mine!!!

  • wow

  • Fast enough? :) I want that setup.

  • Very cool cant believe how fast he is going

  • You should see it when you step on the speedbar lol, this is only at fast trim.

  • this is awesome
