  • Or maybe it's just a lie to prey on vulnerable people to convince them to buy drugs. Sure, drugs will numb you or "pick you up" temporarily, but it won't solve the underlying life problems that trigger emotional disturbances and upsets; and the drugs come with the price of worsening your condition in the medium-long term.

  • 1:54 XD OMG LMFAO!!! but to be honest that's how I feel sometimes :[

  • soteria houses are the only way to actually cure this, no meds either :)

  • Bi polar=ASSHOLE.

  • @brianbela wow really?

  • @brianbela brianbela =ASSHOLE

  • Comment removed

  • @brianbela nesxt timey wearses a cnodom when yous fokke yours mothers yous loosar

  • why did they rename it bi-polar ? so they could sell drugs to people who are not manic depressive !

  • i'm i the only one who likes this techno?

  • thank you so much ur video has helped me a lot on my research paper now i feel more involved about this its cool to know about BPD since we can have someone who might suffer from it and we can helpful instead of treating them like a weirdos thanks again!! ;)

  • thats dam right i got it too i wish people would have our shoes for a day they would kill them selfs the same day because it would hit you hard and you wouldnt

    handle it

  • the music in here is really manic/depressive

  • In children is terrible. They can swing from depresion to a manic stage on the very same day. It is emotionally draining for them and their parents as well. I've been dealing with my child's disorder since he was 10 yrs. old when his diagnose was changed from ADHD/OPPOSITIONAl DEFIANCE DESORDER to JUVENILE BIPOLAR DISORDER. He's been on Rispridone (Risperdal 2mg) for 3 years already. Other drugs have made his symptoms worse. He just started Depakote. He's so tired of feeling sick.

  • I like this video, you have done it very well whcih makes a nice change from some of the shite that goes around Youtube :)

  • Is Bipolar more common in females than males? It's just that the video seems to feature mostly girls.

  • I wish people would stop referring to this human state as an Illness. it's NOT an illness it's a symptom of a sick society!! Pharma companies create therapeutic markets so they can sell drugs they have found DO something!. They found Viagra and suddenly we all all aware we have sexual dysfunction. Label it and sell them a drug for it. certain comfort there for some. All that's happening. Outsourcing modern societies failings and supplementing with pharmaceuticals for profit.

  • Comment removed

  • @tkathryyn Actually I worked for the company that made Viagra for 5 years and I also worked on a number of their 'anti-psychotics' too. I may be a 'hater' as you put it, but I understand very much why I dislike big corporates, because I KNOW shit.

PS I cannot stop taking my meds because I am not on any. If you are then i wouldn't advice stopping suddenly. come off slowly because a lot of these medications create dependance requiring prolonged use.

  • @exspyrd ACTUALLY, it's an illness. depression has been around for thousands of years but only in the past century has there been a "therapeutic market" from Big Pharma. i do not like Big Pharma much either, but to tell people this sickness is made up, or trying to suggest they stay away from treatment, is a real sickness in itself. you reached for the tinfoil hat with that comment. drugs are dangerous; they also save lives.

  • @B3ANK1TTY I appreciate why you consider it an 'illness' rather than symptom, its the view pushed by the mainstream psychiatric industry after all. If depression was an Illness or disease then there would be pathology within people to prove it, but there isn't. Depression and 'mental illness' are clearly real issues for people, my point is they are symptoms of a broken society that can never be cured with medications. These symptoms will continue to return until the root cause is addressed.

  • Fuck anti-psychotics. Adderall/ ativan have helped me... in ways that hurt me, but im not dead. usually dead inside though, like most people, labeled or not. I think we're all rats being tested, and shrinks, like me, are out for themselves. theres no hope or peace we dont suffer for.

  • Diabetes and related complications like hyperglycemia, ketoacidosis, pancreatitis, coma, and death. These side effects can develop at any point during treatment, but we know whats best for you. Its our bussiness to sell drugs, that cause disability, and psychological suffering.

There are No lab tests,MRIs, brain scans, X-rays or chemical imbalance tests that can verify any mental disorder is a physical condition. me -former victim of psychiatry

  • i also hated my mixed mood swings!!!! i have bipolar type 2 and has been suffering since i was 19 till now i am 34. sometimes i wish i could just disappear into thin air. less trouble for everyone.

  • I ws diagnosed with bp 2 disorder 7yrs ago. It was unbearable for me and i thought there was no way out drugs from the doctor didnt work. I felt helpless so i turned to buddhism and meditation. Doing this has turned my life around i recommend it for anyone

  • (This comment is actually from HELENAISNUTS but she isn't able to comment on her own account.) Shit, I think I have it........

  • my boss is bipolar how scary is that? lol?

  • yep this describes my ex to a tee.

notice she is an ex for a reason.. I value my sanity and my life!

  • @PCEntertainment2 Oh jesus, so.. if you were suddenly stuck into a depressed state of mind, after some traumatic event lets say... and the absolute 1st thing your girlfriend or wife did

was leave your ass, I dont think youd be so snide y about breaking her off there bud.

  • @triplejpm

Obviously you have not dealt with serious Bipolar I mania involving life threatening situations. I pray you never do like I have. If you ever deal with it, then your words will come back to haunt you.

  • @PCEntertainment2 you asshole.

Obviously you have not dealt with serious Bipolar I mania involving life threatening situations. I pray you never do like I have. If you ever deal with it, then your words will come back to haunt you.

I wish you luck and happiness but please, grow up. Take your meds and leave me alone or risk a lawsuit

  • @PCEntertainment2 I wish you had you BP and your love left you, you fucking twat. It's not her fault. Risk a lawsuit? for what? getting into an arguement on youtube, get real punk.

  • @skating0813

Good luck in life and i wish you never walk a mile in my shoes or anyone else who has been down the path with BP people that I endured death delusions hallucinations and drama.

Grow up little boy, this will come back to haunt you in life. Remember this when you apply for jobs or get sick with severe BP. Remember this time, karma will come back to you 10 fold but i wish you happiness and hope for your illness because lord knows you need it.

  • @PCEntertainment2 Illness? what are you talking about? And i'm not a little boy. I don't have BP or any other illness but thanks for the wishes anyway.

  • OMG i actually have it... i thought it was psi vampirism for years :O

  • some of u people making stupid comments u think are funny should have to go through what i go through being bipolar. u wouldn't be laughing and making fun of people with this disease. u would be crying for ur mama!

  • @48luv Yeah I HATE people who make fun of poeple who have bipolar disorder. I have bipolar II, rapid cycling. Its sucks sometimes but I do take meds for it. I wish I could beat my mental illness someday.

  • after a good rape, i like to lie down and reflect on my descision

  • I am tired of all my relationships failing n always hurting those whom I love. I feel like I set myself up for disaster. I feel like my mood n my weird attitude is ruining everything n my life. I hate the way I am n I can not change ut! I am either super fucking nice or Super fucking BITCH no in betweens I am either really really hyper or I ma dead asleep. I dnt know what to do this is ruing my life:'(

  • haha mainstream motivated bullshit, bipolar is affecting a huge number of our youth today, it is not something that needs to be stopped, rather nurtured into an enlightened stage of consciousness, the difference between a psychotic and a mystic...the mystic knows who not to talk to.

  • Excellent video. To the point. Good information. Thank you.

  • I am thankfull for this; now i understand my brothers issues and can help with getting them stopped.

  • buy our pills or you might kill your self hurry before its too late

  • @bigredjimmy95 Yeah really...this appeasrs to be a pill advertiser

  • @bigredjimmy95 If you knew anyone who was bipolar you'd know how crucial it is for them to be on medication, not to kill themselves, but to prevent them from killing themselves.

  • THe manic episode doesnt have to be that extreme.

ITs usually the depressive episode for most

  • love party monster.. awesome

  • this music made me go into a rapid cycle of depression O.o

  • @123perrin definetly! me too.

  • I loved this video thank you I live with this problem every day.. Thank you for making a video on it.

  • I loved this video thank you I life with this problem every day.. Thank you for making a video on it.

  • i might be bipolar. but my mom says i'm not

  • Where did you get the two photos of the girls from i would like to now as i am making my own video about bipolar

  • Argh...the fucking music

  • I'm depressed due to the poor audio of this clip...so sad I am.

  • I'm bipolar so I have a speed dial for every shitty mood I'm in, lmao.

  • I don't know whether this is an obvious question or not but is a bipolar person always either in a manic stage or a depression stage or can they be in a normal stage too?

  • @bianca1the1cat yeah they can and they can also be in a mixed phase

  • @bianca1the1cat ,bipolar can mean having every mixture of moods you can think of. bipolar doesnt just mean extreme happy or sad, it can mean rapid cycling of extremes within days weeks, or even hours.

  • @123perrin

I have rapid cycling of bipolar 2 its tough, I think exercise helps a lot but I have been pretty lazy lately

  • BIPOLAR PEOPLE LISTEN TO A BOPOLAR LAD FOR A MINUTE: NEVER TAKE SEROQUEL IT'S SHIT, ALL YOU GET IS A SUGAR RUSH AND IT'S EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, IF YOU EVER GET A MUSCLE SPASM FROM IT EVEN ONCE, YOU GET IT FOREVER. SECRET BETWEEN YOU AND ME (WITH YOUTUBE AND VIACOM: NOT A SECRET ANYMORE) I HAVE IT AND I WANT TO WARN YOU ALL BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE FOR OTHERS.

  • the med list reads as fast as a manic person wow they dont stay up long but great vid.. good thing i was manic when i saw this.

  • wtf is up with ads on youtube?

  • @durfys12 I know Drew Barrymore is giving me a fucking headache with this CoverGirl scham.

  • What kind of doctor do you go to to see if you have Bi Polar?

  • I use to have really bad depression and had to take medicine for it. But when I found Christ and his limitless love I didn't need it anymore.

  • does anyone know of any natural treatment for bipolar, and i don't mean 2X4's across the head

  • I have to agree - you shouldn't explain Bi-polar disorder to have no cure - I wouldn't associate it with spiritual healing - however I would agree with the academic principle that Bi-Polar disorder is actually caused by overwhelming implicit knowledge which becomes confusing due to the fact it is not longer constituted into your character and self-expression. And work productivity doesn't give you merit - you realize quickly you can work regardless of mania and drugs.

  • its not just depressed to happy. there's also mixed moods. and when you get angry its just really screwed up.

  • @aliciapopeACOUSTIC

No way. You're telling me that as a human being you not only get happy but also sad? Holy shit. You're one fucked up person. I mean no human being gets happy and sad. Only people with serious fucking illnesses get happy and sad. You're clearly very ill.

Psychiatry is bullshit. This is fucking ridiculous. I can't believe so many people just readily accept this garbage without demanding evidence.

  • Big Pharma can take a leap!

As well as all the pushers!

  • Why don't you all stop being crybaby's of what happened in your past life and start over yeah sure the mind can be scrambled but use other parts of your mind to spin it around you say this to yourself this person fucked me over and then learn a lesson from it why even care for a person that fucked you over fuck them there the loser not you.

  • I have suffered with bpd for decades and some of my greatest moments can be attributed to it......sadly all of my worst episodes can too....embrace and feel free or treat and feel shackled to meds

  • you need to QUIT TELLING PEOPLE THERE IS NO CURE!!!!! OR THAT YOU NEED MEDS!!! IT IS A SPIRITUAL AWAKENING!!! AN UNFOLDING OF THE DNA< AND IT SHOULD NOT BE MASKED WITH PHARMALOGICAL MAD SCIENTIST REMEDIES!

  • @48luv Ruined ?

look at it in a way that you can see life in both ways.

from a good perspective, and a bad .

  • @48luv

Same here. As far as the recluse part. I hate the fact that I can't go out at all unless I make a promise or it's an obligation.

  • @48luv SAME HERE< I think thats why people kill themselves, because it destroys everything and in the end you have nothing and no one.

  • @48luv lol

  • @48luv you dumb-fuck die tomarro and see god...

  • 1:15 is saying "she died from overdose".

  • I also have BPD. I consider it to be my greatest gift in my life. I am really happy. I am under medication now. I suffer side effects however. Finally, I am really lucky of my family support! Bless all BP!

  • Good video...right to the point(s).

  • wow, this video depicts being bipolar as a sever mental illness, some of the greatest people in the world are bipolar.

I am bipolar and I live a great life, i will never give up, and I am happy that I have BPD. As it has opened up my eyes to the world.

  • i feel bad for the bi's

  • LOL THAT SHIT MADE MA DAY HAHAHAHAH

  • i find it kinda hard to believe that so few people are bi-polar idk though im just trying to understand it more

  • upbeat video about a 'down' subject. I also would have liked for it to go slower so that I could read print better

  • I like your vid, but it's a little too fast to read all the text...

  • thanks, ass hole

  • Truth of the matter is a person acts the role of what everyone has labeled them, if they aren't strong enough to realize the difference between rational and irrational response to emotion.

  • what u say is true for some but not for every1. i was not labeled anything, i never went to the dr. most of my life. and then when i did i was labeled with things i didn't have. n i didn't start acting or responding to things in a different way. I am me, how i have always been. i have bipolar disorder. i must put more work and effort into accomplishing what i want to do. but it doesnt define me,i am an accomplished intelligent person,i live my dreams tho it is hard bc i will not give up living

  • It's called actually using your common sense instead of impulses to determine what your next actions should be. That's just what I would say if someone told me they were bi-polar. There's the rational side of one's mind and the emotional side.

I'm sure there are people who are sick and have bi-polar, but psychologist overdiagnose this because they realize the publicity it gets. With publicity comes money, and everyone knows money is what makes the world go around.

  • actually, bipolar disorder is usually diagnosed first as depression. it's hard to diagnose. but once you are on antidepressant and it makes you crazy and very suicidal (the opposite of what it should do) then sometimes it is easier to see it's something different than depression. ask a doctor. then you will see what i'm saying is true.

  • wot's this song?

  • i dont remember the name of the song but its from the Party Monster soundtrack... i think maybe its called she doesnt get enough.... dont take my word for that tho

  • a psychiatrist once called me sick, but I think it`s a healty human response to cope with a sickened world..I`m sickened by this world, but am not born this way..it`s not easy to keep a clear mind in this world..but I`m trying to make a positive difference as long as i am still alive..peace people:_)

  • i was on lamectal, nuerontin and klonapin, but fucked it sideways .

  • There is extensive research on PubMed showing BIPOLAR is often a cynical fraud+hoax to explain/EXCUSE/justify: boastful unjustified deceitful vicious irrational immoral unreasonable selfish self-centered vindictive vile/evil conduct, to get sympathy/drugs/attention/welfare checks! Advice how to deal with these cheats: RUN! Shun them FOREVER. IMMEDIATELY. It'll save time & grief. You can't "cure" them - they want to be this way. Find someone worthy of your kindness/affection. You've been warned!
  • thats b/s man speeking as someone who suffers from a mental illness, when you have a mental illness you dont have a choice but to be that way you are out of control and they would be better off with out idiots like you making them feel worse. Get over it

  • flugelmations: "they would be better off with out idiots like you making them feel worse"

Fuck off. I don't give a flying fuck about bipolars and the damage they do themselves. My concerns are purely about the wicked damage they choose to wreak on others...

  • Hi there,

Since there are 1882 articles which come up when the term 'bi polar' is searched for on PubMed, you wouldn't be able to leave specific links to this 'extensive research' could you?

    Tah.

  • Where can I find the extensive research you claim on PubMed?

  • Fumbduck greatgambino, all you need to do is look at the neighboring comment from your fellow moron MMMMMcFadyen, who reports 1800+ matches on PubMed (even though he spelled bipolar wrongly).

Do some work for a change, instead of scrounging off welfare and your parents. Do the research, or just FOAD - I don't care which.

BIPOLAR = FRAUD as often as not. End of.

  • Just like I thought. You're a bag of hot air with an attitude. You, more than anyone, needs a shrink, maybe two. What meds are you on now? Alcohol and cocaine with a little MJ?

  • "What meds are you on now? Alcohol and cocaine with a little MJ?"

I take no drugs. No cigarettes. No alcohol. No hallucinogenics. Nothing at all beyond the occasional vitamin pill when I don't get my fruit and vegetable fix.

    Hurts, eh, tuckfard? ;D

  • What hurts? You being a fruit?

  • greatgambino, you tell so many lies (I know, I know - it's the "bipolar", LOL!!! ;D ), you seem to forget it is you who confessed you needed & used a shrink.

Please don't contaminate us (the sane majority) with your B.S.

    Do you own a gun?

  • What kind of question is that? You really do have a few screws loose. Better get them tightened up or you'll really blow your head gasket.

  • greatgambino, stop avoiding the question. Do you or do you not own a gun. If you do, how many.

Don't talk to me about blowing my head gasket. You're the fruitcake who confessed to regularly consulting shrinks... LOL @ the sheer impudence of these mentally-ill bipolar fuckwits...

  • you are one psychotic fruitcake! I dont ever recall mentioning me consulting a shrink but I'll let you live and think in your delusions. Do you hear voices sometimes too? Better have it checked out.

  • greatgambino: "I dont ever recall mentioning me consulting a shrink"

    LOL!!

So, this delusional kook can't quite bring himself to admit I was right, but just denies he MENTIONED frequenting a shrink. No denial that he goes to a shrink.

So, let's talk about your guns. Why do you own them?

If the statistics on bipolars is true, how come there are so many of them? Know what I mean, fruitcake? ;-)

  • I know you named yourself after the Gurnsey cow, but is there something more? A fetish going on? Is this where all this latent evil is coming from?

  • GurniSi, your comments are starting to get wierder and more erratic. I truly believe you're in dire need of psychological help. If I'm not mistaken, (after all, I'm only BP, I'm not a shrink), I'd say you're some fucked-up kind o' crazy. I mean WAAYY worse than BP. I'm not trying to get you all riled up, either. I'm just stating a fact. Has your family ever tried to talk to you about your irrational behavior? I bet not, cuz you probably scare the shit out of them with your crazy thoughts

  • Per PubMed, BIPOLAR often is a cynical fraud+hoax to justify excuse encourage explain: pompous/grandiose vile sadistic antisocial self-centered vicious/depraved vindictive selfish/boastful unreasonable/irrational deceitful obsessive immoral behavior, to get kicks/sympathy/drugs/attention/welfare. Some shrinks collaborate. WARNING If you meet a bipolar: save time, money, grief, sanity - RUN! Now. Shun 'em forever. You can't fix them; they CHOSE to act this way. Find folk worthy of your kindness.
  • Awesome intro to BPD...though the song does not fit outside that of a great beat to such a presentation. good work :)

  • Please go to Yahoo and type in the phrase "Horrible Truth About Psychiatric Drugs" into their search to find a report that reveals the truth about theee drugs that no psychiatrist will tell you. Also do the search with the phrase "Documented Proof Psychiatric Drugs Shorten Lifespan". Be sure to include the quotes to narrow the search so you find the intended research paper on these drugs/ The drugs promote suicide and violence not prevent, cause impotence, no libido and make you fat disphoric.

  • the only drug that comes close that I know of is lithium...I hated it!

  • BPD is extremely serious. Everyone has the symptoms. Everyone. The telltale is the severity, frequency and the length of the episodes, compared to a "normal" person. For example, BPD's are sometimes wrongly diagnosed as sociopaths because of the things they do during episodes. The difference is a sociopath *never* feels regret, while a bipolar, after coming back to earth, will say it was like a different person was controlling their mind and they were merely watching, and express regret. IMHE.

  • ok colmmeister no you do not have bi polar disorder the ''mood swings'' do not happen a few times a day thats just called being irritable when you have bi polar disorder the emotions usually last for about a week or two not a day

  • I have bipolar and i get the "it takes one to know one" normally if you have bipolar you can pick one out of a crowd.

  • holy crap, would it be normal to have these swings a few times a day?? if so then i need help.

  • i couldn't be bipolar, even though all those things happen to me.

  • Fuck anit-depressants take oxycodone HCL

  • I was diagnosed as Bipolar,

Really they didnt give me much choice though I know I was erratic, I was only released from hospital on the condition that I take prozac & seroquel.

  • u need to post a number for the sexual erges im horny as hell

  • I Have bipolar but thats nothing coffee cant cure!!!!!

  • I don't have BPD but my mother does...but she's just Manic and it's sometimes fun.. LOL. Even with medication she's like that. Ohh well...anyway...that is the coolest damn song I have EVER heard. Have a copy?

  • It's "Overdose" by Tomcraft.

Lol I dont get what It has to do with BPD but It's a good song.

  • I have bi-polar. i have been on medication for a long time. i have lead a good life, and now have a job working for a major company. Thanks for the vid.

  • takes a bipolar to know one!

  • "Takes a bipolar to know one"? Actually, that's probably true...they say nobody can possibly imagine how it feels for them to be in -that- bad of a low depression unless you have actually felt it yourself.

  • I'm Bipolar. I wonder if we have our own online club...

  • I'm Bipolar. I wonder if we have our own online club...

  • Go to Beepers Peepers it's all bipolars!

  • I wrote a blog about a manic spiritual high I went on last summer after being put on the drug Cymbalta. "How To Be Bipolar In LA"

    bipolar(-)la(.)blogspot(.)ccom

  • You know they say only one in onehundred people are bipolar yet most of my friends are. It makes you wonder maybe we atract each other

  • This is VERY good.

  • good one!

  • I thought your video was very well done, great job in the descriptions of both "phases" of Bipolar(manic and depressive). Thanks for this video.

    Madamebutterfly66

    Ciao~

  • yea way too fast, I can't finish the screen before it chages...

  • Since most of this vid was text, I would have enjoyed it more had you left the screens to pause a bit more. I am a fast reader, but whoa... I am thinking, as I was when I did my vids, that you were probably on a high, and the speed was just fine :) Nice Job. :)

  • i think mt whole family of 6 has that mental illness, my son has been taking abilify and lexapro since he was 14. he is now 16.

  • Kewl song - kewl video - very informative - scary statistics!

  • Great video on a very misinterpreted and misunderstood condition; I know many people who know next to nothing about Bipolar Disorder (they just think it's extreme mood swings, similar to PMS) and this clears up a lot of the misconceptions. Fantastic editing as well.
