lovely lurcher you got. iv got a hancock lurcher mines a pied blue merle three quarter greyhound one quarter border collie his dad is kubla kahn and his mums a greyhoung calld Ally. hes five months old now and stands 23 inches tall got a bit more growing to do. ther the best dogs in the world
He is gorgeous, Lurchers are just the best cant believe looking back at pics of our deerhound/greyhound ruby how they grow - they are athletes though love taking her to the vets as she always gets complimented on her physique as with Paullley they are fine specimens and gorgeous dogs!!
Uh oh. Another expert rears its ugly head. My dog featured in this video, Raggengill Tom Thumb, IS INDEED a Sporting Lucas Terrier. his dam Raggengill Samantha, his sire Raggengill Rumpus. He was bred in Wales by Eileen Eldridge, and Keith Francis. I have dismissed the producer of the video, for getting his breed description SOOOO WRONG. May I suggest Wanlockhead2. . . you look through the asylum window, and you may discover a whole big ole world out there. . . . .
@Wanlockhead2 Oh I see...You have come on here, having taken the trouble to search out my video, just to leave a snidey ill - informed comment like that. I REALLY hope that you have something more to do with your days as I have another 5 videos for you to painstakingly find, and comment on! Seriously... get. a. life.

Hi, he is growing into a very handsome dog as lurchers always are!, we are collecting our new hancock pup in Jan, can't wait, we already have another hancock dog who is 9yrs old, who is your dog out of from hancock's?
HI DOGGY997. Know-alls rarely make mistakes, for fear of making themselves appear prize idiots, but alas you have proved my theory wrong! My xbreed dogs have been KC reg for decades, on the KC obedience and workings trials reg. Why? . . . . Cos thats what we do with them! before you make a bigger DICKHEAD of yourself, there also exists a import reg. for breeds that exist outside the UK! Whose a sad NUMPTY then???
You can register any breed with the KC for things such as obedience and agility etc, and they don't need to be a pure breed. If you havn't anything constructive to say....
hiya how did you get him to lern on the lead i put a lead on my 9 week old lurcher yesrtday and he just pulled back and wouldnt walk .hes got a collar on .had that on and hes fine so we left it on
I am Paulleys owner - and Emma, who made this video's mum - Good luck with your dog... we had one died in August aged 15. A holy terror - but very very intelligent, perhaps a tad too intelligent!
A fine Hancock lurcher,iv had two they make very good pets ,my first one sadly got cancer age 10,my second one is now five and is still a raving loony but we love him all the same,he s a fribee nut have a look at my channel, all the best .
You're welcome. I've got my Barney. If you go to my YouTube 'MalcOfLincoln' there's a link to my website. Read Barney's pages, plus the boating pages, which are my latest.
Barney's boast :- He's now won all the classes he's eligible for at the shows, plus a race, obedience and BIS. Last year he won a SCAMPS heat (see Crossbreed and Mongrel Club). Despite being small, this the equivalent of Crufts final, so entered into the top 8 in the country.
Thank you very much. Have you lurchers yourself? I have been around them all my life. Fabulous dogs and this boy is no exception! Thanks for both your lovely comments!

That's not a Lucas terrier, might be a Sporting Lucas which is a different thing entirely.
