I dont think its so much that the drummer is bad but rather the others are so damn good!!! I mean listen to porl and Simon. And Robert well genius comes to mind there. And what is this with the change in lyrics. The song is based on Camus- its not advocating killing Arabs as such but has a context based in the era the novel is set in. Please Robert leave the song as it is all of yor fans get it and you could always put a little explanation on the CD cover -educate the ignorant!!!
I agree with the guys who think that jason is a bad drummer. His style sucks, his sound sucks, his lack of confidence sucks. He is the culprit of the lack of good songs in The Cure as compositions are OK but the rhytmic section is awful with jason behind the drumkit
He should have changed it to killing a camel.
