@superbman84 Not too much as at the time I was still running the JDM v7 2.0 motor with a GT30R turbo. That setup dynoed ~390whp on a low reading mustang dyno (~450'ish on a dynojet). The TT cobra was recently built when that video was taken and was putting down ~500whp (dynojet) on 91 octane pump fuel.

The setup in this video was making ~485whp on the same dyno (~560whp dynojet) and was considerably faster than the setup in the Cobra video :)

@Ranger0861 depends if you do the work yourself but if you buy a WRX and what that kind of power you are looking at a 6 speed swap or getting a dog box trans built for your car. looking at 4-5k just right there then a 35r with all the proper mods with it, injectors, fuel pump, FMIC, fuel rails etc. add another 4~6k. Then you need to build the engine and your looking at between 3-5k more depends all on what kind of parts you buy. If you have a shop build it your looking at a lot more $.

Very nice car overall. Clean looks and it pulls like a mofo. Nice shifting on the driver's part too, not just grinding and clutch dumping like so many others who think they can drive. Just watch the speeds on busy roads though.

@04mustangsvtcobra its not good at all to replace the internals once they break, because instead of just replacing them once they break your going to have to empty out your wallet since almost everything else got ruined with pieces of metal bouncing around inside..its always best to not wait too long and if you make the choice and have the money of wanting to make big power replace internals immediately as stock internals cant handle big power

I have a wrx with 485 AWHP and im still running stock axels all i have ever done to them is fix the passenger side boot due to the EWGburning it (poor placement on my part)... this car is sick keep it up.

I've just read horror stories of axels snapping and I can't find any aftermarket ones for wrx's online. Maybe I didn't look hard enough idk. But if they'll hold up good, then looks like this winter I'm starting my build

Ya you should be okey the only thing i would worry about is trans, with that much hp you will want a good clutch and the stock 6 speed will be fine but if you want to go the more outrageous rout you can always have a 5 speed with straight cuts built.... but good luck
