We are seeing these type of actions more and more across the world everyday and it is very disturbing to watch. I commend this woman for standing up to these bullies. I thought the police took an oath to protect and serve not bully and intimidate. If you are in law enforcement then you should hang your head at the amount of bulshit going on. Why dont the honest agents step in to protect our CIVIL RIGHTS when your fellow agents are overstepping there bounds.
This really sucks the police doing this. However, bail bondsman do not have to have a warrant because they are private citizens. There is nothing in the Fourth Amendment about that. This may be a lose situation.
I live in Utah. About 2 years ago i needed an ambulance to take me to the hospital.. Im not working, The Ambulance company got bot out by West Valley City. Now they took over all the Depts, and for me at least they in stead of waiting for my tax returns to attach which is how Company's go after you for a judgment... They sent me to some Constable's office and sent me this letter stasing that if i dont pay this $1631.60 that there going to come to my property, towing vehicles and hauling
They did not have a warrant, doesn't matter what agency they are in they need one. You should have not opened the door if so close it behind you and talk to them they had no rights doing that I think that video proof is all you need

Hm, this doesn't sound (your writing) like the same person in this video lol, but well said. You are correct in them needing a 'search warrant', however that doesn't 'always' apply. If they have probably cause, or an emergency, they may get away with what they refer to as 'policy'.. I would still take them to court and have them justify their 'search' (as they did claim they were searching) without a search warrant. Could be $1000s for you there.

Being that the Bail Agent is not Law Enforcement, the Sheriffs cannot simply act on his word and go tearing through your property pointing guns at people and threatening to arrest you for doing nothing more then questioning what the heck they are doing there.

I don't know what state you live in, but in Oregon, if they have a valid arrest warrant for a person known to be living at that address, they can kick your door down and don't need a search warrant. They can search your house for the suspect, but cant hold anything against you they find in your house UNLESS they have a search warrant. the cops kicked my door down 3 months ago because I had a misdemeanor warrant from an old traffic ticket. And I read the paper work that explained all this.

The presence of a bail enforcement agent (bounty hunter) means they're looking for a fugitive rather than a suspect. Suspects have rights, fugitives don't. Still not cool busting in on the old lady but you don't need a warrant to search for a fugitive.

Hm, this doesn't sound (your writing) like the same person in this video lol, but well said. You are correct in them needing a 'search warrant', however that doesn't 'always' apply. If they have probably cause, or an emergency, they may get away with what they refer to as 'policy'.. I would still take them to court and have them justify their 'search' (as they did claim they were searching) without a search warrant. Could be $1000s for you there.

I told him he couldn't come in. He was there with 3 state cops, for 75 freaking dollars. So, when I caught him searching my house, he said he was arrest me for interference. I went down tot he station, and asked if that was a felony warrant, and to let me see it for the umth time, .. he ignored me, and so I kept asking. Finally he said, no it was a misdemeanour, so started to tell him off, before I could he ordered me out of the station. I never signed a complaint, can I still?

Being that the Bail Agent is not Law Enforcement, the Sheriffs cannot simply act on his word and go tearing through your property pointing guns at people and threatening to arrest you for doing nothing more then questioning what the heck they are doing there.

Let them arrest her. With a good lawyer, she would be freed via the exclusionary rule. All law enforcement officials must follow strict protocol in serving any search warrant, which envolves producing upon request, a warrant duly signed by a Judge.
How they responded to her questions was wrong. Look it up in the Constitution under the 4th Amendment.

I have no phone... i tried to set off my alarm to alert the neighbors and possibly bring other police.. but because they already had the back door open the alarm would not set.. the door have to be closed to trip the alarm... knowing they were already inside, i opened the front because i had to weigh the odds of in the event they kidnapped me, my house would be left open and unsecured

I don't know what state you live in, but in Oregon, if they have a valid arrest warrant for a person known to be living at that address, they can kick your door down and don't need a search warrant. They can search your house for the suspect, but cant hold anything against you they find in your house UNLESS they have a search warrant. the cops kicked my door down 3 months ago because I had a misdemeanor warrant from an old traffic ticket. And I read the paper work that explained all this.

I noticed right away they were already in, as you opened the front door, then turned and there was an officer standing beside you, as he had just come from the interior. This is a huge violation against you and your rights.

I seriously hope she followed through with the suit. After illegally searching her home for the person that was obviously not there like she said, they still stuck around arrogantly giving her orders..they always think they can do what they want. i bet the cop who was tellin her to back away from him was hoping she would strike him so he would hav 'justification' to do some serious harm...all in the name of the 'law'

Im no legal expert, but Ive been around a little bit. This whole thing does seem a bit hokey. Why were Sheriffs working WITH a dirtbag "bail enforcement" asshole? Why wouldnt the Sheriffs show a warrant? As far as I know, unless its an emergency situation, they NEED a warrant to enter...dont they? It just doesnt seem right. The lady, obviously, isnt very "balanced" here, but she has a right to take a stand.
