  • The little kid did not run a 3:10 marathon... He was just pacing his dad/mom for couple minutes. No way a 12 year old hold that pace for that long. Even kenyans at 12 would struggle.

  • @pumaboy77 - You are probably right about a 12 year old holding the pace that long. A 12 year old that I ran behind in the 2011 Chicago Half Marathon ran a 1:26:33. It may be the same kid in this video. The Chicago Marathon has a minimum age of 16, so he couldn't officially run anyway. Maybe he dropped out sometime before 20 miles.
