I collected comic books from the late 80s to the early 90s and everyone, including myself, mistakenly pronounced it as "Mag-nett-oh" just like this video because we always READ the name in print and never got to hear it. It wasn't until years later when the first X-Men movie came out, that we got to HEAR the name correctly.
Is it possible for someone to be a huge Marvel fan and consistently mispronounce Magneto? It was the 90s, so there weren't 5 X-Men movies for reference. Was the cartoon out yet? Maybe they hadn't read any letters columns where Stan Lee says how to say it.
@deadmetalbr Probably a Wide Boy or Super Wide Boy, which are these basically game boys that plug into the NES/SNES and let you use a GB connected via a ribbon cable as a controller. They were used by developers, and I think reviewers. They might have had a special version that had VGA output for better screenshots too. they're interesting, and there are several articles online about them.
Also, i have to fess up. I used to watch this show religiously as a kid, but Bren-ON embarrassed me to no end. I don't know why, but anytime any member of my family walked into the room I would feel nothing but shame listening to that guy. I would actually change the channel if someone else walked into the room and wait till they were gone.
Those were the days when skill, difficulty and challenge ment something shame that times have changed with most games been piss easy aslong as you sink the hours into it. And most challenge gamers are into those lame achievement scores that doesnt differenciate between the hard (like 1CC on hard mode) or the very easy (switching the console on) This means that lame gamers will have more points then a skilled gamer who spends weeks on a single game to make a few points. Lame gaming at its bestimo

So, try to copy the "personalities" of "Bill & Ted" from their movies, and then compress them into video game show host?
Yep: that's the 1990s for you, dude!
Not too bad; yeah a bit corny, but I like some of the tips given.
For example, I still have my copy of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of the Foot Clan" on the original GameBoy! Those tips were for real.
