@M0nk3yboi My rocks are just called 'TGM Blue Stone'. If you type 'The Green Machine' into google, their website will pop up, click on their 'Aquatics' selection and then go on 'Décor Materials'. My rocks are Nano size, only using 1.5Kg worth in my Nano. They do have a good selection of other pieces of rock, however these Nano Blue stones fit Nano aquariums very well without the hassle of trying to break bigger pieces to fit.
The rocks on sale are great, especially if you like Iwagumi scapes!
@SuperSteveeeeee THANK YOU SOO MUCH!! My endless quest is over!! I have a 20L 'nano' tank so what size would you recommend and how many pieces do you usually get per KG?
@M0nk3yboi If we are still talking about the Blue stone. I would recommend 1 purchase of 'Small'size(Quantity:2), and 2 purchases of 'Nano'size(Quantity:2). This way, you can have one centre piece, with smaller peices surrounding (breaking away) from it.
OR
an order of 'Nano' size(Quantity:4-5), for an arrangement of breaking away/scattered rocks.
It also depends on the shape of your aquarium & how you wanted to lay them out, however,I feel either of these orders will be the maximum needed.
@M0nk3yboi Oh, and for the pieces, it seems they try and give you a mix. You can specify the sizes when you make the order, but the sizes are also in the description of the stones. I can give you an example, the largest rock in my video is slightly bigger than the size of a clenched fist - i would say that piece was around 1kg, but it was partly buried
@tropeusum Not sure what area you come from, but in the UK the tank cost around £60 and another £5 for the separate lid. The plants, substrate, rock around another £25. So, for the bare minimum required to set up the tank alone, around £100. However, i did a lil' bit more & added unnecesary items like upgraded LED & Co2 diffuser.
Make sure you dechlorinate your water, and good luck with this addictive hobby!
Hey, nice vid. The tank looks really smart. I want get something similar. I want a small tank for my desk top so stumbled across this. This looks perfect, going to have a look at a few online.
beautiful tank! :O i'm so happy to see someone who has a beautiful, small betta tank that's not one of those horrid half-gallons. that tank's gonna make a betta a very happy fish! i'd love to have a planted tank, but i don't have the right lighting to do so.

You realise that the utricularia is a carnivorous plant, right? (:
It uses tiny vacuum blatters that suck op their prey on touch. Pretty cool!
