Dr. Clarke is just that too. He's fair, and he's logical, and he's not afraid to speak the truth. He takes historical and sociological FACTS and looks at them objectively. When this is done, the truth is seen. The only people who won't see the truth are those who still want to cling to a comfort zone. People need to let go of the things that blind them and prevent them for seeing the pure truth. The synthetic concepts of religion, race, politics...all of those things are harmful shams.
Not to say that he is perfect and doesn't make mistakes. Because that's not the case. But he's what you'd call "real", and with the knowledge he does have he does a VERY good job of keeping it real. Dr. Clarke isn't the only one who I respect for their objectivity, logic, empiricism, and sound mind. Other men are J.A. Rogers, W.E.B. Amongst his racial rhetoric he does have some solid points, like the fact that all major religions have been hi-jacked by political movements removing much of the purity which begot them. I do however think he is unfair in his broad generalizations i.e. "Arabs and White people have no spirituality", this is categorically untrue as are most broad generalizations. Governments have no spirituality, most political parties have no spirituality.

Where and what is "white spirituality"? Outside of Christianity which is NOT a european originated religion, what came out of Europe and the blood of its people that can be called "spiritual"? Dr. Clarke is just that too. He's fair, and he's logical, and he's not afraid to speak the truth. He takes historical and sociological FACTS and looks at them objectively. When this is done, the truth is seen. The only people who won't see the truth are those who still want to cling to a comfort zone. People need to let go of the things that blind them and prevent them for seeing the pure truth. The synthetic concepts of religion, race, politics...all of those things are harmful shams.

Not to say that he is perfect and doesn't make mistakes. Because that's not the case. But he's what you'd call "real", and with the knowledge he does have he does a VERY good job of keeping it real. Dr. Clarke isn't the only one who I respect for their objectivity, logic, empiricism, and sound mind. Other men are J.A. Rogers, W.E.B. DuBois, Martin Bernal, Michael Bradley, Carl Sagan, Isaac Asimov, and Jiddu Krishnamurti. I respect ANY human, regardless of "race", if they have those qualities.

I'll add Albert Einstein and Michio Kaku to that list. As for religion, I think like Clarke, who was probably a deist like me. I believe in a "god", or a prime mover, because something had to start existance, but I also accept historical facts (like in Zeitgeist) about religion being based on OPINIONS borrowed from older cultures. I, like these men, look at reality for what it IS, not thru a fog of 2nd, 3rd, etc. -hand info and preconcieved ideas which only bring about confusion and negativity.
