thumbs up if ur still wathing this in 2012 !!

  • even heroes have the right to dream,

    DAMN !! i love this song !!!

  • It's not easy but we keep going. here's to 2012.

  • Im ur superman Mahal ko..:) Ilove you soooo much... ^_^

  • he looks like Hyde from "that 70's show"

  • im more than a bird, im more than a plane, im a birdplane.

  • @spaceace124 everyone writes this comment on every superman video and I don't get it cuz its not even funny the first time you read it...

  • holy shyt bag, i love this song

  • ผมมาจาก... คอร์ดแทบ XD

  • he tried to tone his voice down for some reason, not digging it

  • Hi there! I'm nliz and I made a cover of this song and I'm hoping you guys could help me raise up my views! thumbs up if you love this song by five for fighting and if you watched my cover! thanks! \:D/

  • Jingle from when i was a kid:

They said it couldn't be done

They said nobody could do it

    But Superman killed himself

    With just one bullet

  • damn -- thers nothing question about thats song-- f u hve a question u cant relate d song or ur not belong d song? :D

  • Even Superman has his problems, short comings and doubts.

It comforts me in a weird way.

  • Eu amooo essa musica!!!!!

  • I will never forget the feelings I had as I watched this concert on TV.

  • 2:15 - 2:21 is love scene!!

  • This isn't about superheroes in comic books. It's about the ones we lost that day. So stop arguing about the imaginary and realize what's more important: stories about heroes or the real heroes.

  • @Ninjewz62 get your facts right. this song came out in 2000 and 9/11 happened in 2001. so its actually not about that

  • @Ninjewz62

This song Superman is saying "even though I doubt myself, and am afraid of what tomorrow brings, I don't doubt that I'm doing the right thing, and that is what keeps me in the cape."

How can that kind of story not be important?

  • Linda música...

  • ก๊าก ๆ

  • I won't say there aren't some I like, but try as I might I've always preferred the DC heroes to Marvel. If you think about it, a psychotic billionaire dedicating his life to avenging his parents is more realistic than a 'ordinary-guy-with-powers', trying to hold down a job, keep a wife happy, fight crime and do the things the rest of us do. Like eat, sleep, etc.

  • 911 was a tragedy but it showed us what true heroes look like. They don't have capes and super human strength. Only super human courage.

  • how can anyone thumb this down? assholes

  • @TLombardo.... Ill be at the game on Sunday also and I'm with you on that one! First time I heard this song was shortly after the attacks and fell in love with it and it s gonna be amazing to hear it sung live on the 10yr Anniversary!

  • @scanman18 do you have video? fox didn't air it as far as i saw, and that pisses me off. if you've got video, upload it. thanks

  • Beautiful!!! he looks just like his voice sounds......

  • beautiful song and perfect setting, the image of the fireman crying is enough to bring anyone to tears for what happened on that day...

  • good

  • I'll be at the Jets game Sunday, and I've already come to terms with the fact that I will probably be bawling my eyes out by the end of this song.

  • nice one

  • He is gonna perform this on the NY JETS sunday night game on 9/11

  • THUMBS UP IF UR STILL WATCHNG THIS IN 2011

  • Makes me cry every time I hear this ... it'll be forever etched in my memory in connection with 9/11 and the brave firefighters, policemen, Port Authority officials, volunteers, doctors, nurses, etc ... who were so brave on that tragic day.

  • @hoyageorge amen

  • I agree. I think of 911 when I hear this song. I tear up every time

  • this song has interesting lyric and nice voice of john ondrasik...

  • love this song ^^

  • loving this song :( i miss her much... :(

  • It's not easy being me... :)

  • this song reminds me of a guy from college,he always sang this when we went out...gets me everytime....think he was trying to come out of the closet or something,we never saw the sights though

  • this song really touched me because i'm pretty sure the term superman and how it's used in this song portrays exactly how the men and women of NYPD and the New York Cops were portrayed as superheros for what they were doing for the city BUT inside they wished they could cry and fall upon their knees just like the song says. NOT because they were weak but because of how sad and upsetting the entire 9/11 situation was....idk my 2 cents

  • @livingisaight

while that does make a lot of sense, it cant be about that because this song was released in 2000

  • @devdesmusic but it was widely applied to that, hence the concert.

  • Does he say "I'm more than a pretty-faced" or "I'm more than a pretty face" ?

  • five for fighting

  • Superman was born superman....didn't have to change into a costume.....always had it on

  • love it !!!!

  • I listen to this song most everyday on the way to work to get ready to remind myself of how hard I work every day without recognition. But I still smile... I find it inspirational .

  • John Ondrasik is awesome. How does he come up with this stuff? Superman, 100 years, The Riddle and so on. He is a true supertalent and his voice is amazing :)

  • WOW :) iam realy adore you Five For Fighting

  • 25 Lex Luthor's account

  • Everybody knows Batman can take out Superman :)

  • Will Ferell

  • this song is nice! so nice! one of my favorite!

  • This is probably one of few artists who sound exactly the same as the studio version of thier music. Thumbs if you agree

  • @zakiv4 without the original boyce would've never made the cover nice smart ass remark though =)

  • This is a great boyce avenue cover.

  • @zakiv4 Actually it was Five For Fighting who are the original :)

  • @nothinglikethatever yea, the comment was supposed to be sarcastic. but it's cool(:

  • Thumbs up if you think that nothing can beat the original , this is the actual song, made 10 years ago, there version is good, but no cover is ever better than an original

  • nice song i love it..

  • boyce avenue version is far better!! =p

  • This is really good. But Boyce Avenue's cover was kind of better.

  • @NaomixKarenxMuahaha i have to agree.. =D

  • @NaomixKarenxMuahaha Don't go called Boyce Avenue better than Five for Fighting. It's John's song to begin with. Five for Fighting is far more talented, any day. No contest.

  • Even heroes have the right to bleed

  • Great song, have you checked out young teen band Deceptively Innocent's original song Superman's Lament? The video is hilarious and well worth watching...at least we think so. :)

  • after listening to boyce avenue, i think he sings this too fast...

  • @TheBrockbarbeau wtf..you mean boyce avenue sang this too slow

  • Boyce Avenue brought me here!!!! great great song!! ;) (u should see their cover)

  • Beautiful

  • never forget.

  • 23 people are Spiderman fans.

  • @leroy199512 lol may be they are BATMAN fans wahahhaha

  • @leroy199512 lol!

  • This is amazing

  • ESSA MÚSICA É LINDA DEMAIS..PARABÉNS

  • boyce avenue

  • Aww, he's tearing at 3:17

  • @toubie95 I'm pretty sure anyone singing this right after 9/11 would've. I did just listening to it.

  • Imagine how hard it must've been for him to sing this. Right after 9/11, singing a song dedicated to the NYPD/ FDNY. He did a great job

  • It's not eazy to be superman,,lol

  • Great Great Song, thanks

  • this is awesome

  • Long Live New York & LONG LIVE AMERICA !!!

  • @Ronbo710 awkward did you know tthat superman was made by a Canada ..... and he is american

  • FCK! I LOVE THIS SONG!

  • wer im so happy juiop

    ]

  • its not easy to have superpowers and be superior to the human race -.-

  • I love this and need a Kleenex thinking about singing this with all the 9/11 firefighters and policemen sitting front and center at this concert. They are, and always will be true heroes. G-d Bless Them...

  • 22 bald guys with a lust for power.

  • he sings diff notes in the beginning of each line...live than he sings it in his recording...i think its cuz hes trying to match the melody right while not sounding completely out of tune...otherwise i love it!

  • the lead singer looks like will ferrell

  • was this after 9/11?

  • @crlsctalan Yes it was right after 9/11. People that had bought tickets to raise money then donated the tickets to our firehouses and police precincts so we(FDNY) and them(NYPD) could enjoy something. I had to work the night of the concert but the guys that got to go looked a bit better mentally after.

  • i like this

  • During one "visitation" weekend with my daughter, this song came on the radio. My 10-year-old daughter listened to the entire song together. After it was over, she looked at me and said, "Daddy, you're my hero!". I looked at her and said, "We will be together, I promise!". She had been begging to live with me ever since her mom left, and took her with her. After a year of court hearings, I finally kept my promise and got custody. That was 7 years ago, and we've been together ever since.

  • @killercraigaaaw i'm really happy for you man. wish you and your daughter happy life. good bless

  • @killercraigaaaw It's good to read justice works sometimes.

    Maintain your promise ;-)

  • nice!

    nice!

    i lilly lily like it

  • Perfeito!! wonderfull!!

  • Damn that blonde is hot!!

  • @madmerotten I voted this up, and I'm sorry if you're hearing this again, but that's a cello.

  • @Thekozolfactory I think it is a little too small for a cello. Cellos are usually coated with glossy gelatin to make them sound bigger. (Thus the name "cello," derived from "Jell-O.")

  • @madamerotten Mate thats the funneist thing Ive read on here in a while

  • @deejayzak I did some research, and it is really a big violin, no kidding.

  • @madamerotten rofl derived from Jell-O? stupid fuck

  • @rasmusfalk Yes. That is correct. Jell-O has a long history as a material used by stringed-instrument makers. The Stradivari family used a once-secret recipe of spruce soaked in raspberry Jell-O to deepen the timbre of their fine instruments.

  • @madamerotten the name cello is not derived from the word Jell-O

  • @rasmusfalk According to careful research, it actually is. "Violoncello" is the original name, which means a stringed instrument soaked in Jell-O.

  • @madamerotten shut up. please. violoncello means small violon. a violon is a big viol, which is a precursor to the violin family. look it up on wikipedia.

  • @MrSchulta I regret that the Wikipedia article is wrong, in this instance.

  • every time I hear this beautiful song it reminds me of our country's struggle to deal with the terror of 9/11. it will forever be a in my heart.

  • dammm, i like it this song is the best
