I won't say there aren't some I like, but try as I might I've always preferred the DC heroes to Marvel. If you think about it, a psychotic billionaire dedicating his life to avenging his parents is more realistic than a 'ordinary-guy-with-powers', trying to hold down a job, keep a wife happy, fight crime and do the things the rest of us do. this song really touched me because i'm pretty sure the term superman and how it's used in this song portrays exactly how the men and women of NYPD and the New York Cops were portrayed as superheros for what they were doing for the city BUT inside they wished they could cry and fall upon their knees just like the song says. NOT because they were weak but because of how sad and upsetting the entire 9/11 situation was....idk my 2 cents

People that had bought tickets to raise money then donated the tickets to our firehouses and police precincts so we(FDNY) and them(NYPD) could enjoy something. I had to work the night of the concert but the guys that got to go looked a bit better mentally after.
