Those arn't True Ninja, True Ninja's would use thier Superiror numbers to thier advantadge, they would use the Environment to thier advantadge as well, like picking up Dirt and throwing it into the face of the Samurai. They also wouldn't fight in broad daylight.

Much of the point of greater numbers is that the single guy gets surrounded and attacked at the same time instead of two people standing there staring. That's just shogun 2 for you, great video.

@mastergrab44 Well, the entirety of Japanese warfare was based on Singles combat, two warriors challenging each other and fighting to the death. Then when one is victorious, another challenger replaces the defeated. It was very systematic.

That's why when the Mongols first tried to invade Japan, they absolutely mopped the floor with the Japanese. The Japanese tried to get a single warrior to fight them, but groups of 4 and 5 started beating the crap out of one samurai.

The second invasion was all-out, but the "kamikaze" storm wiped out their entire armada.

@lillonerboy It takes a while to get Katana Hero. In campaign mode you have to max out the sword school building ( which means pumping points into the bushido tree ). And you're only allowed one Katana Hero unit anytime. A way to get more than one is to bribe your opponent's Katana Heroes over. Its pretty sweet if you have 2.

@CLICKMEYOULOSER Actually the ninjas are the only class that is deadly with all classes in Shogun, they are extremly deadly and useful, as for logic it depends on the player. All their cool moves and tricks, win the battles. Heroes are always a pain in ass to kill, is even annoying that you have one hero running towards a volley of muskets and still lives to kill half the unit.
