@bigbadbob99 we humans think we're so important that we deserve "everlasting life", "rewards in heaven" etc, etc. What makes us so special, and why do we seem to think it does not just go black when we die, and we are totally DEAD ?
The Bible tells us the reward for sin is death, not just physical death but the second death which is your eternal spirit. I don't see how; from this song anyway how Frank avoided this reward. But having said that, If he recieved Christ as his Lord and saviour before he passed then his reward is eternal life in Heaven with the Lord and all of us Saints of the Lord. We can only hope.
We all should feel incredibly fortunate for having Dweezil doing what he's doing, and to the fact that he chose to keep Frank's work alive and, being a musician makes him
the only one who can accomplish such a mission.Imagine if Frank's offsprings.were born with no musical talent,or wanting to be lawyers or something!
One year in NY, just after the last line ("If we're dumb then God is dumb...") a guy wearing a hooded monk costume jumped up out of his seat and tried to rush the stage to attack Frank! Everyone, including Frank, saw him, and we could all tell what he was up to. Bald-headed John, saw the guy too. He moved Frank back by the drums, then stood at the front of the stage waiting, his arms folded like "I don't think so, fool..." but the in-house security got to him first and threw his stupid ass out!
@glennjitsu Is that story really true?Where did you learn it?
It is quite an annectdote. It probably was caught on tape by one or more of the filming crew cameras, everpresent in most (if not in each and everyone) of Frank's performances,as he used to have.Good thing that psycho was tackled down and kicked out.He should have been detained to check who he was and what was he up to.Fucking idiot. How dared he?
Have tou got any more info on that incident.Never heard about that. Thanks!
Frankie you opened everyones eyes---just check out now--------We'll always love you-----and Dweezil, your all your father helped create-xxxxxxxxoooooo
@elperropatron it wasn't that he was ahead of his time; he just had a better understanding of what's happened thru time. sounds to me like he's describing the past several thousand years
I was a mere 17 when 1st first blessed seeing FZ here at the Brady Theater on 101880 (same night "Hog Heaven" was recorded),that was my first religious experience in my entire life time, although the 2 hits of "gold dolphin" enhanced both shows a bit, theres NOTHING ON GODS GRAY EARTH that will ever compare to that night,SO thankful that DZ is putting forth so much in his efforts to honor his fathers music.
ZPZ at the"Cains Ballroom" on 8-13-07 was as close as ill ever get back to that night:)
Miss ya Frank. Today's music really blows..........

@PichonIglesias Yes, of course it's true. I was at the show and saw it happen. One of the many NYC Halloween shows we used to go to back in the day.
