  • excuse me i have to find the nearest castle and run around swinging a whip whilst moon walking up and down stairs

  • Holy... Mother... Of... Shit. This epic!!!

  • Someone should play it on a pipe organ.

  • " its like nostalgic moments from a Nintendo game within another Nintendo game " ~ Angry Video Game Nerd

  • NES VS SNES

  • @jorgeloredo100 DON'T START!

  • Best Castlevania EVER!

Yes even Better as Metroidvania! Straight forward an beautiful. This game shows the power of the SNES in all it's 16-Bit glory!

  • Those medusa heads will always be the most annoying part of the Castlevania series.

  • this game and doom have the best boxart of all time.

  • One of the best games in the snes library whit some awasome kick-ass music...Is this game made by god??

  • @NinThiago101, Just, no, that arrow to the knee crap is just as bad as Chuck Norris. I want people to shut up about Chuck Norris, Arrow to the knee, Waffles, Ninjas, and a bunch of other crap. It'd make comments and YouTube a hell lot more enjoyable if I didn't see about Skyrim, or Fuck Norris.

  • @RetardDawgs Well that's your opinion, and plus I agree with the Chuck Norris part. He's WAY too overrated, but I kinda like the arrow part. Your opinion, mine, let's go with it :P

  • What a horrible night to take an arrow in the knee.

  • @NinThiago101 what a horrible night for multiple whip lacerations

  • @NinThiago101 now simon can be an adventurer....we need another belmont...but then they'd possibly enocunter a horrible night for sudden archers to fire arrows at your knees.

  • @stigfan35 k.

  • @NinThiago101 i meant simon can't be an adventurer....damn me typing before reading.

  • what a nice platform you are one...

shame if some medusa head would happen to you...

  • This is awsome. But the NES version kicks more ass

  • love it -,..,-

  • WHAT A HORRIBLE NIGHT TO HAVE AN AWESOME REMIX.

  • This song owns.

  • Simon is Chuck Norris in the 1400's

  • @lolproductionds Richter is Steven Seagal in late 1700's.

  • There's no way that upstart Julius could handle what Simon went through in Castlevania vanilla

  • @baddok1 yeah Simon is the Belmont Jackson he be pimpin any Belmont like Julies and any others

  • GLPs intro Song xD

  • What a horrible night to fucking curse.

  • Best version of this.

  • Amazing music and this was back in the old days

  • Wow! This came out of a snes? I am Impressed...

  • Simon Belmont = Best Belmont

  • @baddok1 No Julies Belmont = Best Belmont in my opinion not only did he killed Dracula for the final time he killed his successors. and he handles a lot fucking better.

  • @ChaoticDarkShadow Simon can whip in 8 directions and moonwalk. Your argument is invalid.

  • @baddok1 So? did he brought the final end of Dracula? can he double jump?, can he backflip? is he stiff as a piece of wood?

  • @ChaoticDarkShadow "Julius Belmont, along with a group of unnamed compatriots, finally succeeded in destroying Dracula for good and eliminating his threat forever. Or so they thought." Simon doesn't need fancy moves. He just walks in and styles on everyone. Even when fighting dracula he doesnt give a fuck, just casually walks.

  • it's a horrible night for a curse.

  • Rarity is best Pony

  • @Zapinc9 nope pinkie pie

  • @Zapinc9 nope Pinkie pie, also you shouldn't spam MLP on unrelated things it gives people the wrong image of us fans

  • @maxdragon783 Its a reference to a Castlevania Bloody Tears remix

  • @Zapinc9 Ah sorry then.

  • @Zapinc9 ...They didn't...

They did NOT remix this song THAT WAY!

  • 2 people were vanquished by the morning sun.

  • @SSJEYMAN they must be pc gamers

  • @crapperstick dont forget emulators :(

  • Best Box Art Ever.

  • 2 words: f****** awesome

  • What 2 asshats disliked this?!

  • half the speed is awesome!!!!

  • @tifaslover The original ones were the bad ones in this one just hold down attack and swing your whip around

  • @tifaslover i named my bong medusa cuz she leaves you stoned

  • @tifaslover Onloy the Castlevania Classic ones.

  • I wont say much for modern castlemania, but I do remember SNES and PSX SOTN, fucking masterpieces

  • @XXXERXXES Hell Yeah!

  • People always say that Sympothy of the Night is the best in the series but i dissagree,i saw Sympothy of the night on the Xbox-Live store that just pissed me off. I want to see the whole NES trillogy PLUS this game on Xbox-Live,God danm it!

  • @Heartborne7thSeeker I have to completely agree with you. This is one of the most replayable Castlevania games ever made. It's in my top ten list of all time favorite video games.

  • @justinhendersonmusic I totally agree! it has an unlimited replay value.

And it is by far the most scary vania game of all time.

  • Castlevania II:What a horrible night to not have a curse.literally.this song kicks ass.

  • SURFING SKELETON.

  • this is one of the greatest drumbeats ever made.

  • Geez, a guy wearing one piece clothing vs skull people, dragons, man...

  • lol he's chasing that Medusaheadbitch. I hade those things.

  • 0:06 part sounds funny

  • Best Castelvani music, best Castelvania game. Castelvani 4 ROCKS. I even have it as mine ringtone.

  • Manly Tears

  • I love the original Castlevania series before it went all JAPAN-FUCKED-UP!

  • 0:40 fucking best part

  • Comment removed

  • I JUST LOVE THE GAME AND THE SONG!

  • one of the hardest games ever for snes.

  • @Tantalis77

While I would agree Super Castlevania 4 is a hard game in the SNES library, there are some harder ones.

What about Super Ghosts n' Ghouls? or maybe "Battletoads and Double Dragon". Yes, SC4 was a hard mother

fucker, but there were harder ones :D

  • @Zyphersspher76 super ghosts n ghouls :O a hard asshole and contra

  • This track has the best cello bass line in cartridge history. Konami did an amazing job with getting this amazing quality sound from a 16 bit cartridge. Till this day, this track still amazes me. I replayed this track at least 10 times today.

  • this song makes me imagine running through the old creepy rooms of the count dracula and whipping zombies and bats with it and running up the stairs determined like and with my long hair and my awsome cape flowing behind me o.o

  • I think I like this version better because it is such an epic part of the game and the nostalgia just floods in! Good idea imo to use the themes from all 3 of the earlier games in the climactic final stages =D

  • Bloody Tears is definitely one of the most unforgettable tunes in the Castlevania series.

  • nes was more badass than this version

  • Nes version music is better

  • 2 people are tools that think SotN was better.

  • @unillenium fools? i thought sotn was a great game. i consider both sotn and 4 a masterpiece

  • @unillenium 2 people that didn't have a snes and their first console was a psx. everybody else now that

castlevania 3 > castlevania 4 > rondo of blood > aria of sorrow > legacy of darkness > sotn

  • @deraickripper lol my firts console was a psx and i still liked this video....

  • @BieelWoW BUT! did you think sotn is better than castlevania 4

  • @Vergilthenew of course not! the best one for me was castlevania 2 Simon's Quest!

  • @deraickripper Bloodlines > all the rest!

  • visit neslyrics to hear vampire killer lyrics video

    hope you enjoy

    Castlevania music rocks

  • back when games had awesome box art...

  • @curiouslycrusty mmm have you ever seen the art of god of war?

  • @LordNothing BOX ART, there is a diference in concept/game art inside the game (or in a website idunno) and the art that is printed on the box where the game is held in.

  • @roman6a damn, you are so fool.

  • @LordNothing damn, you have absolutely no argument here at all.

  • the best castlevania To me!!!!!

  • some games stand out some of them don't but the ones that do, there the ones who had effort put into making them, in the music, the gameplay and the mood have been made perfect super castlevania 4 is one of those games

  • I am currently working on a rendition of this for a fellow youtuber. Basing it on this one :D

  • Awesome... Listening to this song makes me wish to play this game again :)

  • @FlamingGaming1 same bro, NES FTW!

  • @FlamingGaming1 Amen Brother. I have an NES and am currently expanding it's library and trying to get an n64 as well. I hate how new games only care about graphics and if it sells, unlike nintendo. I'll pick old games over new games any day. LONG LIVE THE NES, AND LONG LIVE NINTENDO!

  • Death HIMSELF serves Dracula!

  • @FlamingGaming1 Yeah I know a younger age has some significance, but it just feels to me like some people use their age to brag about liking something (like retro games or rock music), as if it's really special that someone who is younger likes that kind of stuf. Which I dont think it is.

  • @FlamingGaming1 I hate it when people brag about their age on these kind of comments, what does it have to do with it?. It's like those people who comment on rock music videos: I'm 12 years old and I like rock music, blabla. Just pisses me off.

    Otherwise I agree with you

  • @FlamingGaming1 AMEN BROTHER

  • This is the best castlevania game of all time and I still play is on my old Snes.

It has the best music of all the vania games and by god I love that Snes bass thump

And for some reason No other Castlevania game has ever scared me as much as this one,it has a menacing sence of dread about it.

  • @Heartborne7thSeeker i agree 100%. this game was intense when it came out, climbing those steps with the spiked whell comin. One of the best sound tracks in series, it was an awesome game and deffinitely under rated.

  • @jimacus Thanks so much!

  • @Heartborne7thSeeker The real thing is that no Castlevania game is scary anymore, they all look like anime, as we all know, is not scary

  • @psycicpowers I totally agree.

The (anime look) has no soul and does not really appeal to scary stuff.

I do love anime, and has been a fan since the early 1980's,but I still don't think anime belongs everywhere.

But I must say that castlevania 64 did give me some real scares,The big bull, really made my hair stand up.

But super castlevania is and has always, been the most scary of them all,and I bet it wil still be the most scary one 20 years from now.

  • @Heartborne7thSeeker Castlevania used to be a horror game. You know, before it went anime.

  • @gonzmanX9 yea! That is so true and the first castlevania for the nes and super castlevania for the snes are the most scary of them all, that is for sure.

That said,I do think that castlevania64 had some very scary stuff in it and the (big bull)

still scares me half to death.

But after castlevania64 the series just went to much anime and I lost interrest in it.

  • @gonzmanX9 Wrong. It used to be a japanese caricature of horror movies/legends, denoted by the film like intro on the NES. You had medusa, frankenstein's monster, death, dracula. For more information see the awsome GameTrailers retrospective

  • i love the flute bit and the heavy percussion at the end. it is my all time favorite moment in music history. nothing else in music period sounds better to me than that part in this song. it hits a frequency that resounds my soul in a way that I cannot comprehend or begin to understand. csv4 bloody tears is the best of the bloody tear versions out there, and one of the best songs ever made

  • best version EVAH!

  • i remember this game i found death the hardest to beat

  • lol how ironic. this video is linked to the video Jizz in my pants XD

  • @lagorbian That's not ironic, that's what happens when you hear this song!

  • @dannydork10 thats the point! XD

  • AVGN's fav castlevania :P

  • WHAT A HORRIBLE NIGHT TO HAVE A CURSE

    (origanal line iz teh best)

  • rondovu

  • Best Castlevania ever ^^

  • I like how "Jizz In My Pants" is the top featured related video for this, because that's exactly what happened when I started listening.

  • @Kalmyel

lol you beat me to this comment. i was about to say the same thing.

  • wow this is great

  • im not goign to give up trying to get every game of castlevania.....EVEN DRACULA X!!!

since its so expensive. ok not ds games

  • My brother just finished this game and it was so fucking epic to Watch!

  • 0:42 is one of many reasons why this is the best version of Bloody Tears in any CV. The arranged Chronicles version is a close 2nd though!

  • I really like that some games on the Super Nintendo have the word 'super' in their title! Oh, and... nice theme =)

  • this song kicks dracula's ass

  • This version of Bloody Tears is best by far from all versions I heard, even from Simon's Quest. It's extended and has the best ending part. :)

  • This is the epitome of Castlevania songs, hell video game soundtracks in general. I would take a SNES with this, SMW, LoZ, ALTTP and DKC any day over a 360/PS3 with Cock of Doody Black Cocks or Modern Gayfuck 2

  • @dezthaman * Genie chuckles* hahahahaha!

  • @dezthaman Damn right motherfucker!

  • Brilliant!

  • Related videos- Jizz in My Pants

  • a link to the past, super mario world are both EXCELLENT games, but lets be honest. they could NEVER be better than castlevania

  • lol at jizz in my pants in related videos

  • I've played a lot of CV's from CV IV up to Order of Ecclesia and this is STILL the best "Bloody Tears" version I've ever heard.

  • Never played the game but DAMN I LOVE THIS THEME!!!

  • @TheMadPacX You're missing out, man. Download ZSNES and the ROM.

  • @czeineh or get a wii and get SC4 and play it on a big screen

  • @TheMadPacX ya dude seriously download zsnes and find a rom for it this game is fuckin awesome

  • Weird, listened to a lot of remixes of this but still thinks this 16-bit version is the most awesome one :) Encore!

  • This is the most amazing tune in this game, I was stuck for frickin' ages on this bit though.

  • whoa, I completely forgot that Castlevania 4 had this! No wonder it's so nostalgic to me! I used to have Castlevania 1 and 3 on the NES, and 4 on the SNES. I played Dawn of Sorrow, and heard this theme which was apparently from Castlevania 2, and I couldn't explain the nostalgia it brought--- until now. Apparently back when I was like, 2, my older brother got way further in Castlevania 4 than I did and I overheard this very song... thanks for the revelation dude :D

  • This sounds like a Christmas song.

  • @darthgrahf

    LOL?????

  • This one and the original are the best Bloody Tears versions. The other versions suck (but the song is awesome!)

  • better than the original Castlevania 2 theme!

  • The stage this music is played in drove me nuts. One wrong move, ill-timed jump, staying too long in one spot to figure out where to go and when to move... So many deaths. It was very rewarding to finally make it to the top, but I just felt so mentally exhausted. In some odd sense, I do wish they'd bring Castlevania's back to this kind of format (the map/rpg thing is okay, but this style brings back memories)

  • Yeaaaaaah Epic !!!

  • this is music to my ears...eargasm....lol

  • the music and the front cover are awesome

    today the covers look lame

  • @2extremebenny

Second. Mass Effect 2, for example. Box art just ain't what it used to be.

  • geil

  • realy :)? youhave my voice i amwhis you do it make it greatly ;)

  • I am lost in this Clock Tower xD

i died so often i can to hear this sound *memorys* :)

  • man,a link to the past is very hard & very long but that means it's very rewarding too!

  • @ningeaBLADEclanuBECA Lol maybe it's just me but the only frustrating time I had in A Link to the Past was in the Skull Temple, and maybe in the second Hyrule Castle a little bit. The rest was just PURE ADVENTURING FUN.

  • @ningeaBLADEclanuBECA A little off topic.... but you prove a good point

  • @ningeaBLADEclanuBECA yeah i only recently beat the gba port for the first time a few weeks ago honestly Ganon was kinda easy after i learned his attack pattern and what not to do

  • @ningeaBLADEclanuBECA Wtf does that have to do with Castlevania?

  • @ningeaBLADEclanuBECA And ur saying this on a castlevania video... why?

  • @ningeaBLADEclanuBECA dude stop talking about link a think castlevania

  • I think i'm going to try and do that drum part on a real drum. It will be hard as hell, but rock hard.

  • This is the best IN-GAME version of Bloody Tears in the history of the series. It's hard to believe it came out in 1991... it's held up so well.

  • hearing this music makes me wonder, are there other snes games out there? nah don't think so...castlevania rocks!!!

  • Castlevania rocked...and it will be the best game..:)))))) music..gameplay..story...graphics...100% IN ALL!!!!!

  • yeah, tell this to one of my stupid friends which says that now,the games before 2005 are laughable-total garbage compared to the ps3 & xbox360 games.he's so stupid...make him stop,& 70% of the rest of the world:(

  • Yeah, srsly, people today don't understand what good games are. I've never played Castlevania IV myself, but other games, like Zelda: A link to the pas, Super metroid, Zelda OOT and Lylat Wars are just much better than those new games, with their fancy graphic and stuff. All hail the old games!

  • The new games just can't hold up to the 100% wide-eyed enjoyment of playing old 2D games
