It's very clever advertising.

By telling you the product is "unbelievable" and "huge" etc... he's actually making you believe its true because you have no reason to believe its not. Therefore you walk away feeling like it really is amazing simply because you have been told it is. These dramatic expressions leave a much more lasting impact. Look at videos by other companies and you can see the difference.

Not impressed with this video... what is the point? That he uses the same adjectives and phrases in different speeches? Let's count how many times I use the word "the" in a presentation...or use the adverb "very." Steve is truly a gifted man and such a blessing for humanity... I agree about their marketing prowess & high price point, but consider the following. I own Apple G5 (4 yrs old) & 2 Dell's & an HP (4yrs, 2yrs, & 1 yr old). I have had numerous issues with drives (2 hard drives crashed..in the new Dell Desktop & 4 year old one). Speed, as they get older, they get slower. Viruses. However, I have NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY APPLE. It just runs smoothly. Never a drive issue, nver bugs,still super fast.Even with the high price,still great value in the log run.

Funny how most itards are happy to get ripped off because they heard he helped start it in a garage. Yet, as rich as he is, he has no problems charging double for the hardware/os bundle. I could use the same pc hardware, load osx for about $450 instead of $1600. Or spend $750 and have something a lot faster. But rather than run hackintosh, I prefer Windows 7 any day. I'd rather not get ripped, only to turn around and need to load windows anyway, lol.

Despite those facts. Jobs is more inventive than some PC guys. He created companies, made them successful and wealthy but not monopolistic. He also started something before a lot of guys and we can see it now. Lately he went down to Intel processors.
