I gotta agree with you too. Im a vet as well, and it's pure luck that I am not disabled. I know those vets who served their country and were injured and even disabled have a real pulse on their issues, and if he's scoring that low, it's just plain bad news.
I also know that as an Oregonian, this guy is unpopular. But he's well funded too.
Connect Smith's vote with Mukasey's refusal to confirm or deny that an "enhanced interrogation practice" that dates to the Spanish Inquisition, is specifically prohibited by the US Army Field Manual (2-22.3), and has been prosecuted by the US as a war crime, actually constitutes torture.
You would be surprised at the dismally low level of awareness (much less understanding) of events such as this that promise to impact the life of each American, whether that proves to be for better or for worse.

wow. Way to go college dems. It's good to see that you didn't even bother to cite bogus sources to back up your bogus claims. It's to be expected, I suppose...
Gordon Smith is not a bad guy, its the portland liberals and the eugene hippies that hate him.

good job. Smith cares little for the people of Oregon and needs to be voted out.

I'm not a disabled vet, just a vet, but if disabled vets gave him that poor a rating, he should be removed on that alone.
The repubes' abysmal record on veterans and injured troops should be hung around their necks at every opportunity this election cycle.
