I am new here, I mean, never touched Midi or anything B4, just bought a new Akai LPD8. I have my desktop running windows 7 and Macbook laptop need the LPD8 to play drum so I thought just plug in N play, but it doesn't make any sound, I know it might sound stupid to you but I dont have any idea how to use it.
do I need to use a recording software to make the sound or is that the computer settings???
How do you set sample on lpd8?..:s

But you definitely have to add more conga samples to other pads. slaps, flams and more are very welcome here.
