  • My name is Shark Boy, but I can sound like Stone Cold

Tried to sue Miramax, but I got no-sold

I live underwater and blow lots of bubbles

Probably won't be booked for the Wrestlerock Rumble.

  • This is why scott hall started drinking(Tim E. D NWA Anarchy play by play)

  • that host guy is the true hollywood comedy white guy so sad that so many future legends were in this

  • Gotta love Ken Resnick

  • It's even on 4/20, awesome.

  • I seriously don't think it's possible to be more off-time than the white dude with the moustache at the end of the video was.

  • when are Michael McGuillicuty and David Otunga going to come out of a pool rapping?

  • @celsci1 A question I ask myself daily.

  • @celsci1 There names together are too long to fit in one rap line

  • This is back when the coke and whores was flowing.

  • HBK was even the man when he was first starting out, no doubt that playmate made it back to heartbreak hotel!

  • Fucking Epic..

  • 1.34 the ref looks like he's playing invisible tennis

  • best thing about this video is the news about the RED SOX winning the al east title..lol

  • my new outro for any lame situation: "Man, fuck YA'LL niggas. I'M goin to tha Wrestlerock Rumble...BITCH."

  • Worst dancing in the history of dancing starting at 3:25. Also, gotta love the high-five!

  • Scott looks so fukin Miami vice in this it's sad.

I'm 80 yrs old, this dont make any sense/

Watch my DVD as my organization crumble/

dancing 2 my grave doin the Wrestle Rock Rumble

  • Hmm April 20th? Boston must have had a hell of a team that year. Clinching the AL east before the third week of April.

  • Greg Gagne has those shads on because he feels fucken retarded. Bockwinkel can flow.

  • Get on!

  • Greg Gagne is in a RAAGGGEE!......

  • Nick Bockwinkle = Rap God

  • I can't believe Verne Gagne to rap That's funny.

  • Even in 1984 this song was outtdated

  • GEEEET ON!

  • So this is why Shawn Michaels knew how too speak too Cryme Tyme...

  • FYI - For those too young to recall, the WrestleRock Rumble theme (1986) is an almost exact rip-off of the Chicago Bears Super Bowl Shuffle, from their Super Bowl season (1985). Search it and compare.

  • i love this,

  • that's actually better than wwe

  • i think Verne got ribbed cuz he had too many lines and it didnt fit the beat

  • Bockwinkel baby!

  • Yes! The Red Sox are your American League East champions!

  • Loved how Curt Hennig sold the chick pushing him into the water.

  • This is like a Dark Bros. porn, music and all.

  • Verne rapping had to be one of the greatest moment in AWA history.

  • Big scott hall and Curt Henning sounded the best, expected The midnight Rockers to sound better.

  • This is SO great! Thanks!

  • Oh, good timing for me to watch this!

  • So Wrestle Rock was on April 20th...coincidence?

  • man that bockwinkle...he had a bit of some flow going

  • @sfkforever Bockwinkle=G.W.A Geezers with attitudes!

  • well, jeez thanks :D

  • Bahahahahahaha WTF!!

  • at 2:42 they look like part of the village people

oh yeah and greg gagne sounds like a constipated wiener dog

  • @liewwrestling

    ...Constipated weiner dog.

    Best. Analogy. Ever. Well done.

  • LMFAO OH MY FUCKING GOD

  • :O

    Awful.

  • was that mean gene whippin up on bruiser brody?!?!?!

  • @dl4825 Verne

  • @dl4825 That was Verne. Awesome vid, that would hype me up to see the rumble for sure.

  • This might be the GREATEST Rap song ever made.

    Rap rhymes with Crap

  • Bockwinkel and Zybyzko had the best flow of anybody. That's kinda sad.

  • I'll file that under "phrases I never ever thought I'd hear, and never expect to hear again", for sure.

    Still, I laughed hysterically.

  • @lswanger924 I kinda liked Sheik Adnan's too

  • Wow. This is brutal.

  • No wonder the great Curt Henning later sang a song called "Rap is Crap"

  • I used to watch this at least 20 times a day. I hope I never fall into that trap again.

  • Yeah, I used to. Your dad was really good. "The Little Penis That Could" was my favourite movie by him.

  • Yeah, I really had to focus to see your dad's penis. Oh yes, "Sucking on the Bottom of a Dripping Ice Cream Cone", another one of your dad's finest pornos. I especially like the part when they were packing fudge together.

  • Half-brothers. Mom is a sweetheart.

  • So my grandfather was a gay porn star?!

    NOOOOOOO

  • that`s not it

gay genes run in the family as well as incest

    *wink wink*

  • I love southern white folk!!!

Also I can't believe how much Shawn and Marty in this video remind me of my friend's!?!?

    PPS

So much for rap is crap for hennig, hahahah

  • lol you think youve seen it all

  • It is typical of the AWA to use a rap song to promote an event called Wrestlerock...is it Wrestlerock or Wrestlerap?

  • This was painfully funny to watch and listen!

  • This is either the greatest or the scariest thing I have ever seen.

  • oh my fucking... god

  • its like verne's attempt at the superbowl shuffle and wrestlemania at the same time its it so awful it awesome

  • This is the greatest thing I have ever witnessed in my life.

  • Zybysko did the best. But this is why middle aged white men shouldn't rap. I'm not being racist but just saying. It's painful to see them rap and dance offbeat. LOL!

  • Jerry Blackwell really showed that table who's boss.

  • This sound like a recycled version of the super bowl shuffle.

  • Now you're catching on...

  • The best part is Larry Zbysko taking nunchucks to a coconut for no apparent reason.

  • Larry Zybsko was the best rapper on the card hands down. The only one on the beat!

  • Bockwinkle was pretty "dope"as the kids say but Vern was ...well you know.

  • @justfromg Nah, Nick Bockwinckle's rap was the best (though that's not exactly saying a lot).

  • Greg Gagne sounds like he's cutting a promo

  • great, now i have no need for the 50 cent CD i bought,, grrrrr

  • Nick Bockwinkel rapping is perhaps the best thing I'll ever witness.

  • this has to be the gayest thing i've ever seen....hehe....wrestlelicious baby

  • That male "Wrestlerock Rumble" voice toward the end sounds an awful like that Strongbad character.

  • Lol. That is the DUMBEST thing I've ever seen in pro wrestling, and that's saying something. Seeing Verne and Greg rap is more painful than having my teeth drilled without novacaine.

  • There's no way this is dumber than the Gobbledy Gooker. No way.

  • I will admit, the Gobbledy Gooker was quite embarrassing. How can Vince survive such inane stunts and those kind of things bury Verne? Hmmm.

  • super broker owns this piece of crap

  • This video couldn't be any better if Cena, R-Truth, P.N. News and other rapping wrestlers were in the AWA at this time.

  • Good stuff lol anyone remember outta town charlie brown !

  • loll white men cant rap, period (im white btw)

  • i'm verne gagne, older than dirt,

i'll break an old man's hip and i'll make it hurt,

give him a brainbuster, and make his skull crumble,

i'll kill another old dude to do the wrestlerock rumble

  • I'm a rasslin' nerd,

    young & brash,

    word to your mother,

    with an elbow smash.

    I said a hip hop

the hippie the hippie to the hip hip hop, a you dont stop the rock it to the bang bang boogie say up jumped the boogie

to the rhythm of the boogie, the beeeat

    *insert scratchin' streetmix here,dawg...*

  • and a rip rock ripity doo!

  • Damn, the Jays got their asses kicked. :(

  • How sad is it that Larry Zybysko & Nick Bockwinkle had the best rhymes? I agree that this is so bad, it's so good... Thanks for posting this... It brought back good memories...

  • that was painful to watch

  • $9.95 a month for WWE 24/7 and thanks to Shorties I've learned the best rappers in the AWA were:

Larry Zybysko and Nick Bockwinkel! Will wonders never cease.

  • I have it too, and these videos are hilarious. The AWA ones are the worst. Ken Resnick was no "slouch" on the "mic",btw.

  • Zybisco is gonne be on the next gangsta grilles.

  • this is so terrible it's good almost lol!!

that mick bockwinkel dude sounds like vince mcmahon.

  • Ah, the ancient days - when ESPN only showed scores twice an hour. How did we survive without the eternally rolling ESPN ticker?

  • I came

  • wow have all of these guys changed...big brawny scott hall.

Oh to have a 320 mp3 of this track...

  • Isn't it a shame that Nick Bockwinckle and Larry Zybysko can rap better than Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty

  • But every true wrestling fan should know that Bockwinkle has ALWAYS had mad rap skills.

  • That's why they are called the rockers, not rappers.

  • @wjhealy13 nah shawn and marty are just some backwoods hicks

  • @wjhealy13 LOOOOLLLL

  • Scott Hall rapping....

    I have seen everything

  • im vern gane u know my name and my awa is fn lame, were trying to compete and put up a fight but this whole rap thing is fuckin shite, ive got great workers on my books thats true but when it comes down to it my ideas are poo. word life to your mother boyeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • I could only image what the Iron Sheik would say.

"This is the Iron Sheik and I'm gonna fuck brian blair in the ass to make humble and when I'm done I'm gonna do the wrestlerock rumble."

  • LMAO, dead on man!

  • LMFAO!!!!! That's EXACTLY what he'd say!

  • @sukidillon LMAO THATS WHAT HE WOULD SAY

  • Everything that The Beastie Boys did for White rappers, THESE guys undid in 3:59

  • I am 100% speechless. (Or at least 90% if you take this whole comment into consideration... Although after all of this its more like 80%.)

    -=The Prynce

  • I have this as my ringtone..Yeah!

  • It's the Super Bowl Shuffle remixed!

  • Woooo! Red Sox win the AL East title! GET ON!

  • Haha yeah this probably came from 1986.

  • This is hilarious. Zbysko's scream sounds like he accidentally burned himself.

Also interesting is that the event took place at the stadium named after a man called HHH.

  • Funny that Bockwinkle did the best "rap" of any of them.

It took place in Minneapolis, so why all the D-list "celebrities" from Vegas -- not to mention the slot machines and junk?

  • The AWA taped their TV from Vegas.

  • They should reunite like Wutang (does that make Henning ODB?)

  • amazing

  • what careers they ended up having...scott hall became razor ramon , then nwo scott hall. curt hennig became mr. perfect, and midnight rocker shawn became the icon, showstopper, main event hbk!!!

  • Don't forget Verne Gagne who also became a WWE Hall of Famer

  • I believe all of the wreslters in that video who are still alive would wish they never did anything this atrotious in their lives. Wow, talk about cheese.

  • i love how brody no sold vern gagne's punches.

  • Greg Gagne was just aggro as!!!!

  • shawn and marty....lol

  • Classic and stoney

  • man those playboy girls were hot

  • the rapping might be bad but Curt Henning in a speedo makes up for it.

  • PURE HORROR!!!

  • OH...My....god.........

  • Uh!

  • I don't care how cheesy this is...it still is almost a who's who in wrestling with some of the biggest names

  • Larry Zbysko had the illest flow.

  • LMAO!!! I remember seeing this when it was shown on the AWA show on ESPN. I haven't seen it since. As a little kid, it was cool to see my favorite wrestlers trying to rap. Now I see how corny it was. It's still bad ass. Thanks for posting this video.

  • its sooo bad oh my gosh...

Thats one reason why white people better dont rap oh man

  • Hennig and Hall look like gay porn stars

  • I hate to say it..but I went to this "event" and actually bought the cassette tape of this "song" back in the day..

  • Oh my...this makes me embarrassed to be white.

  • Awesomeness personified

  • Greg Gagne was the Erik Watts of the 80s... he actually looks like Paul E. in the video.

  • good call.

  • best video evar!

  • If only Iron Sheik was in the AWA in '86- he coulda delivered a classic: "I'll fuck his ass and make him humble/ And break his back with the Wrestlerock Rumble!"

  • LMAO! Wow...

  • Heh, and then maybe he could be followed by his manager...

"I'm Eric Simms / Shieky's little bitch / We stage public scenes / so we'll get rich / just another money-grubbing dumbell / hoping for a taste of the gate from the Wrestlerock Rumble..."

  • I remember seeing this back in the day BTW.

Actually the Red Sox clinching the AL East part is really interesting....that means this must have been videotaped sometime around September of '86, but as you can see in the video Wrestlerock already took place in April! Strange that they would still be re-running promos for the event months later.

  • Bockwinkel and Zybszko nailed this. And thankx to Ken Resnick I now found someone who dances whiter than I do.

And hey, Boston clinched A.L. East. Did this just air on TV last week? ;-)

  • Ridiculous ripoff of the Chicago Bears' popular Super Bowl Shuffle. AWA and other sports organizations tried to get people to make songs like that. Now this was when rap was hugely popular in the '80s and everybody was riding on that trend. Most couldn't keep up with the beat. Or probably didn't listen to Run-DMC, Whodini or others during that year.

  • Oddly awesome...

  • The Marilyn Monroe impersonator was dead on. No pun intended. She had the voice, looks and mannerisms down perfectly.

  • That's Susan Griffiths. She is an in demand Marilyn Monroe impersonator. She has played Marilyn Monroe in stuff like Pulp Fiction and Quantum Leap.

  • I've been meaning to catch ever since I read about it on Wrestlecrap...

I'm just as surprised as anyone how much mad skills Bockwinkle has. Jerry Blackwell, on the other hand...damn, he may be the only person on Earth who can make Kevin Federline sound like Eric B.

  • I think you mean Rakim...Eric B didnt rap, well he did but it wasnt really good....

  • I somehow confused the two...you're right. D'oh!

  • GET ON!

  • That isn't Curt Henning's voice, is it?

  • Damn this is so addicting.

  • ohhh wooooow, LMAOOOOOOO

Hennig, Hall, Bockwinkle, and Zbyszko save this one... Larry was kinda feelin' it, wasn't he? HA!

  • damn i just cant figure out why the awa folded.

  • Really.. I don't get it... were they advertising an AWA PPV for April 20, 1987... 7 months earlier in September of 86? Then they said it was Wrestlerock '86, so... I'm confused...

  • It was probably a rerun.

  • So the video more/less consists of wrestlers kickin' it around Las Vegas when the opening and closing shots showed Minneapolis? And how scary is it that Bockwinkle sounds like KRS-One himself compared to everyone else in the vid?

  • total rip off of the super bowl shuffle, but still hilarious.
