hey mate, ive run into a little bit of a problem and i was wondering if i could ask u a quick question. sorry for bothering u im sure your extremely busy.
ive installed mac os x onto a dell inspirion mini 10v and when i get to the set up i cant see my hard drive - im running windows 7 with it split into 2 partitions (140gb NTFS and 20gb FAT32) it only shows the external i am booting it from. ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated. thankyou for your time.
The Mini 10v with Windows 7 is the starter version. It's a limited version of Windows 7. This person either upgraded or installed a full version of Windows 7. BTW - W7 Starter sucks! I'm installing Home Premium and upgrading to 2GB of RAM as soon as I can.
@awinCarnine He most likely had XP then installed a full version of Windows 7. If you bought a Dell Inspiron MINI with Win7 preinstalled, it will be the STARTER edition, which disables several functions, such as changing the background, and using most than three programs at any given time.
it didnt take long, 20-30 mins if you have the SSD version i would recommend you to make the installation smaller rickatnight11 . com/?p=181 is a nice tutorial. good luck!

My mini 1012 came with starter then upgraded it to ultimate 64 bit works flawless.

Its about 2.5 hours and sometimes even more. I am very impressed with the battery life considering its a 3cell.

yes it runs smooth. I have had no problems. There are two drivers on dells website which need to be installed.
