  • Azan - The Call For Prayers

In The Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

"Allahu Akbar" - recited FOUR times.

Meaning, "Allah is Most Great."(four times)

"Ash-hadu an la ilaha ill-Allah" - recited TWO times.

Meaning, "I bear witness that there is none worthy of being worshipped except Allah."(twice)

    "Ash-hadu anna Muhammad-ar-Rasoolullah" - recited TWO times.

Meaning, "I bear witness that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah."(recited twice)

  • @abdelrahmanmuneer

"Hayya 'alas-Salah" - recited TWO times.

Meaning, "Come to prayer."(turning the face alone to the right and saying it twice)

"Hayya 'alal-falah" - recited TWO times.

Meaning, "Come to Success."(turning the face alone to the left and saying it twice)

"Allahu Akbar" - recited TWO times.

Meaning, "Allah is Most Great" (face back to front and saying it two times).

''La ilaha illallah'' There is no deity except for Allah.

  • @abdelrahmanmuneer thanks for that, had no idea what he was saying.. but to be honest, it didnt really matter. Just the sound moved me, and I thought it was beautiful.. To me it doesnt matter what God you believe in, in the end we all believe in the same thing. I will never forget this day, and thats all that matters :o)

  • @lainepeter listen to the Qur'an it's more beautiful. It's poetry

  • @elmowantstokillu

its not poetry, but its the word of Allaah( god)

“Say: ‘If the mankind and the jinn were together to produce the like of this Qur’aan, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another’”

    [al-Isra’ 17:88]

  • mashallah such anice words

  • My goal in life is to become an architect and move to Dubai, I'm 15 now I'd love to move there, thanks fore the video (im a muslim) the imam has a beautiful voice.

  • Allahu Akbar, inshaAllah i will move somewhere like this

  • nice.....

  • Indeed amazing, subhanallah to be in such place full with modern technology building and the Azan can be heard clear in the air..you can feel somthing...The Peace

  • Amazing, SubhanAllah.

  • Beautiful!

  • Im sooo envy of u for visiting Dubai !

Too bad Im not allowed to do so.. :-( It sucks..

  • do they call the prayer 5 times a day, or is that repeated from a disk ? it sounds always the same

  • @88lafe They have someone calling 5 x a day

  • @88lafe

the words for call to the prayer are allways the same and nearly same tones, but its not recorded, its 5 times a day, and they call live from the mosque. In each mosque thers a man who call evryday and using a disk its not allowed, ppl can use it at home but not in the mosque cause its need to be allways live

  • @SonsOfLibertyy it's need to be always live... i wished all people think like you do. In Turkey it's different.

only one Imam calls the prayer, which can be heared from all other mosques in the city.

When we look to Tunesia we see another picture, there it isn't allowed to call the people to prayer.
