@acuidad I don't get the Casual Gamer Comment, I've played many Nintendo games that are very challenging and have lots of depth to them, I've also played more Mature games like Grand Theft Auto, even though it does have a lot of Depth, I have noticed a lot of Casual Gamers seem to prefer it over Nintendo Titles just because they like driving around a city and blowing stuff up, and not because of it's great gameplay! A Mature game isn't any better than a E Rated game like Mario, Wario or Zelda!

I'm REALLY glad I bought this game. Now, is it worth the $50? I would say no but ONLY because it IS a short game. Now..if your into INCREDIBLY SOLID oldschool platforming then you really cant do better then this. The graphics are BEAUTIFUL, it really is one of the most fantastic looking 2D platformers I've ever seen, music is also really good ranging from jazz to funk that fits well with the levels, controls are simple, and the game is just flatout fun to play. Once it hits $30 its a GREAT buy.

I agree that it is a short game, and I agree that it is a little bit pricey...but my main quip is the compact disc.

I have always been a fan of cartridges, and now that computer chips can out-store CD's in information capacity: I want Nintendo to bring the cartridge back.

Aside from the sensitive disc, the game is amazing!

I love most of the music tracks in this game, and the levels really do look good.

Nintendo also played on my 2D-loving side when they made this game.

It's so off-putting that I haven't been playing the game since the first couple of hours I played it. It kinda stresses me to know that after all that fun platforming there will be another speedrun that'll take away the whole fun that I got from just exploring. Dude, running back to the start is really easy. They usually give you a quick secret passageway after you shake the alarm. The time is pretty easy to get around.

It's not the difficulty level that is the problem there. It's just the fact that there has to be this time limit which always takes away the fun of exploring the level. Also, there are some challenges that require things to do within the time limit (such as explode all the bombs in a level). It's just not that fun anymore. And that happens in every single level. Without it the game would be almost perfect.

Some parts of the level are available only after shaking the box. But anyway, I do agree that it's a great game and recommend buying it except if one hates time limits. And even then it's worth trying and seeing if the time limit is not too annoying. I'm so glad that they still do 2D-platformers instead of all fancy 3D ones.
