We do have a right to liberty, and the fruits of our own labor, we do not have the right of others labor. You don't have the right to my life and I don't have the right to yours. I don't have the right to a doctors services, my health is my responsibility.

Of coarse they would support it they voted for him on a feeling instead of facts. I guess it is Ok for my self and others to pay more taxes on top of buying their own health care, And when they need more money they will come after us for more, So it will give Government a reason to tax us more in the future. I will pay the stupid fine or else choose to go to Jail. I wonder if they will be able to house all those who refuse to pay for it.

we need more dr's and incentive for people to get to the dr's. those of you w/ insurance (or w/o who have attended the dr's office recently) how long did you have to wait for a simple appointment (let alone a complex one). It's a supply and demand issue and we're already well above demand w/o proper supply. Opening it up to everyone (while nobal) is just going to make things worse for all as we're not addressing the issue of not having enough dr's. solve that then we'll talk unvi. access

please follow the money train and tell me how any of those services are "free".  Simplistic answer to a simplistic argument "health care should be free". without any thought as to how it magically becomes free or who pays for it. Reduce the cost of health care, don't just magically make it free by crippling the country with taxes.

Healthcare isn't a right it is a responsibility just as renters insurance, fire, car, life. If your young you can purchase a major medical ( catastrophe insurance) For $30 to $50 a month. If the Government takes over healthcare plan on not being as afluent as your parents because you will be working half the year before your money is your own as the Government will need half you salary to cover massive Government programs full of waste aand abuse.

the government isnt "taking over" anything.

A public option isnt socialized medicine because hospitals remain private, and doctors continue their private practices.

If however the government plan was to run hospitals and make all doctors government employees then you would have a point.

Btw, people are much less "affluent" due to the rising cost of private insurance. 60% of bankruptcies are cuz of health expenses...and 80% of them had private insurance.
