  • I laughed at the seeds part... But I agree with everything!!

  • just because you cant see god doesnt mean hes not there. Can you see the wind? no is it still there? YES.

  • you're going to hell

  • @Toebex13 Your indoctrination worked well for your parents. You now believe the same nonsense that they do. there is no such place as hell, and no such place as heaven. We are mortal animals living on a random planet. When you die, you will meet the same black void as me and every other human that ever lived. It's called the Real World. (Psst...by the way, Santa doesn't exist either. Sorry to burst your bubble).

  • @RobNorthampton I know santa doesnt exist asshole. Say what you want.......One day, you'll see.....

  • @Toebex13 You can't beat a good education. One day, maybe you will see.

  • @RobNorthampton just because you cant see god doesnt mean hes not there. Can you see the wind? no is it still there? YES.

  • @Toebex13 Bad argument. We can feel the wind, so we know it exists. ALL gods only exist in the minds of those people that want one. Without early indoctrination, nobody would have ever heard of such a thing as their favourite god. I was raised in a Christian environment, but by the age of 13 I was arguing with our local vicar over the nonsense of it all. People don't like their dreams dashed, so he, like you, just shouted abuse back. He didn't change my mind.

  • @RobNorthampton but if we couldnt feel the wind we wouldnt know that it existed. but it still would. see what i mean? proof and evidence:There are scriptures from back in the time where his son jesus was here. Nat Geo also did a bone and body hunt for jesuses body and found the cloth which matched DNA to his blood and beetings. They could not find one bone! they can find bones from Millions of years ago!

  • @Toebex13 You can't use wind as an analogy. What you are saying, in effect is: Wind is invisible, but we know that it exists, therefore because (your) god is invisible, he must also exist. All the other gods that have been invented and prayed to through the ages were/are also invisible. Does that mean they are all real too? And if you discount all those gods, you can see why I discount yours. You are an atheist too. I just believe in one less god than you.

  • As for finding the body of Jesus, it would be like trying to find Harry Potter in the phone book. They are fictional characters, created to entertain (or control) the masses.

As for DNA associated to Jesus? Even if the Jesus character had been real, he supposedly never had any offspring, so how could they ever trace back even part-DNA evidence without any living descendants? I'm sorry, but the ancient cloth theory is just too full of holes, and we're not talking moths here! ;-)

  • @RobNorthampton I.AM.NOT.AN.ATHEIST. I.BELIEVE.IN.ONE.GOD. ONE.GOD.ONLY. AND.THE.SON.OF.GOD.WHICH.IS.JESUS. THAT.IS.ALL.I.AM.SAYING. END OF DISCUSSION. I.DONT.FEEL.LIKE.ARGUING.WITH.YOU. YOU.BELIEVE.WHAT.YOU.BELIEVE. AND I WILL DO THE SAME. GOODBYE NOW.

  • @Toebex13 lol schizophrenic

  • @Toebex13 Have a nice life, and may your god go with you.

  • i wanna add something.

sure there could be a higher being that created this world, but please don't claim other things like hell or heaven or all these spiritual shit.

keep it simple, a higher being created this world...done.

something from nothing is impossible, and that's why i think there has to be a high being.

but i 100% refuse to follow any religion on this planet.

i can't take all these spiritual things, it's like getting rick roll'd :P

  • the difference between an atheist and a theist is that atheist keep it to reality with only facts.

you are either 100% sure or don't believe it, it's that freaking simple.

meanwhile theist believe in something that could be wrong or right. it's a 50 50, it's like gambling.

hmm let's see what makes more sense, living your life in reality or living a life where it could be true but you are not sure.

i think we all know the answer.

  • @H4rm3t If these were Facebook comments, I would 'Like' them, and they would have little up-thumbs on them now! Yes, I am that sad LOL

  • i remember that part in the end, it's from mr bean :)

  • @H4rm3t Halleluia Brother! ;-)

  • 1:37 - 1:46 lol i was thinking dirty again.

  • @H4rm3t Sounds good to me.

  • all this knowlegde u have right now is taken from religion..whichever one that might be..ur ancestors according to the b.s evolution fairy tale says that U were a fucking ape..didnt know shit about shit..u learned to greet people,to be generous,to help people,to be clean..from one religion or the other..COMMON sense as man knows it now came from one religion or the other..n now like the ungrateful bastard that u seem like u are you will say..you knew all this even thought u evolved from a monkey

  • @outlaw21ryda It's a shame that your marvellous all-encompassing religion didn't teach you to speak English too.

  • @outlaw21ryda Not one scientist will tell you that we evolved from a monkey. Do some research on evolution and realize the incredible overwhelming evidence for evolution. Evolution has even been recorded and viewed in our own lifetime in scientific labs. Evolution is fact like gravity. Ever heard of the gravitational theory?

  • You look depressed and misguided.

  • @MsKittenz1 You're right. I'm depressed that I keep getting mis-guided by my emails to answer messages from stupid theists who wouldn't recognise a fact if it bit them on the arse!

  • @RobNorthampton wow ur soo smart.....are you a rocket scientist or something as well???

.....you are a genies man.....i dont even know where to begin...u seem like u were the coolest kid in high school and even right now are the talk of the town...arent you?....fucking goof

  • @outlaw21ryda

    Facts 1

    Sarcasm 0

    I win.

  • your going to have some really bad karma dude just try praying for something you want? you will be suprised how god works

  • @frescabee Okay. I'll pray that all the people in the world drag themselves into the 21st century, give up all stupid ideas that they will live forever, and dump all religion. You think my prayer will work?

  • @RobNorthampton well you cant pray about bad things because god is about good i mean i wonder how a atheist thinks and i wanna ask you if you dont believe in god then how did man get skill how did everything be created and please think deep for a moment spiritually and think how did all of humanity begin?

  • @frescabee In Ancient times, when man didn't have an explanation for the world around him and how things worked, he invented gods. It rounds things off nicely, and gives an answer for everything. Why is the sky blue? God did it. Simple.

In modern times, we have libraries, TV, internet and millions of scientists and scholars all willing and able to explain everything you need to know. All it takes is the will to learn!

  • Besides, if you believe in karma, you must also be a hindu. On the other hand, you speak of "how god works" as if you only have one, whereas hinduism has too many deities to count. Will the real god or gods please stand up? I think not. You've been duped by indoctrination and misinformed education, my friend.

  • @RobNorthampton i feel bad for you i mean u do have your own mind rite? and we all hav minds and think inside them and wen your dead your mind is just dead? i mean you just sleep forever nopee makes no sense to me and im not hindu u dont hav to be hindu to believe in karma

  • @frescabee You don't have to be christian or muslim either, but millions still are. Your mind is exactly the same as my mind, and the one thing they have in common is that neither will be able to see, hear, smell, taste, feel or think once we are dead. You can't do anything independently of your brain - not even imagine an afterlife. Religions invented the idea of an afterlife to keep people in order. Stray from their doctrine, and you don't get one. It's all nonsense. Enjoy what life you have.

  • ..while you can. Be a good person, help others along the way, pass on knowledge (NOT religion!) to the younger generation, and be thankful that you were the one sperm in millions that made it to the egg! Once you realise your time on earth is limited, you can start to enjoy it more without wasting time talking to walls and ceilings. Have a good life!

  • Yawn!! My response in a Limey accent: This stupid video by the jerk-off atheist only proves that they have no morals. "You never have to confess to anyone that you've been a naughty boy" There you go. Have sex with multiple partners (guys and girls). Do all kinds of drugs. Tell the girl you inpregnanted to have an abortion, divorce is okay, oh yeah, kill all religious zealots.

Sorry I called you a Limey. But it didn't bother Terence Stamp and was directed by a fellow atheist (Steven Soderbergh)

  • @xtroxtro1 You certainly found a whole tirade of untruths to get angry about there, Mr Oxtro. From the word "naughty", you derived five either illegal or immoral pursuits that are pursued by theists and non-theists alike.

And the term "Limey" is not offensive. It derives from the fact that English seamen in the 18C started eating limes (Vitamin C) to ward off scurvy.

  • @RobNorthampton Thanks for the info on limey. Maybe I should apologize for calling you a jerk-off. I'm sorry!

I believe that what I mentioned above are pursed by non-theists (you mean atheists. It's okay, you can say or spell the word.) Just look at all the debauchy going on in Hollywood where most of those liberal types are atheists!

  • Very funny. I enjoyed this greatly. I would sub a second time if that were possible ;)

  • @Morahg Thanks very much :-D

  • @Stigmatibus Wrong. My life is marvellous without your god or any other god in it! But if the idea of a supreme being stops you being afraid of the dark, then all I can say is good for you. Have a nice life. And afterlife. And may your god go with you.

  • If you really want to know why I don't want gods and religion in my life, I explained it all in a previous video. Watch it, or don't. I really don't mind.

    /watch?v=Z455RTlZHM8

  • @Stigmatibus You obviously don't get much fun in this beautiful life. It's probably all that worrying if you're doing the right thing to get into your 'next' one. Good luck with that. If you succeed, you'll be the first human to have achieved immortality! The rest of us primates will be trying to enjoy what little of this life we have left while we are still here. You ought to try it. (Pardon my bluntness, but you're no spring chicken either).

  • After that? Well, nothing. We go back to the same state of consciousness we were at before we were born i.e. zero. The water and elements that make up our bodies go back to the earth from whence they came to promote new life and energy. And so the cycle of life continues.

Quote: Stephen Hawking, 2011: "I regard the brain as a computer which will stop working when its components fail. There is no heaven or afterlife for broken down computers; that is a fairy story for people afraid of the dark."

  • @Stigmatibus So, you've gone around in another circle, and ended up back at your original question. I obviously wouldn't jump off a building because I believe in gravity. Blame Isaac Newton. Damn those scientists and their provable theories!

I admit that I deny the existence of any gods - that is what being an atheist means! But the fact that you think anyone who doesn't share your delusion needs therapy is frankly hilarious! Thanks for the chuckles! :-D

  • I did just take a quick squizz at your channel. It's nice to know who I'm talking to.

I find it amusing that the first video I clicked on, uploaded just over a month ago, within the first 20 seconds, you said, "I am completely retiring from religious debating and arguing with trolls".

Just to clarify - it was you who came to my channel to "debate".

It's a shame really, because I think if you could shrug off the religious shackles, you could be a really nice guy to chat to.

  • @Stigmatibus I think you're the one needing therapy. I too, am an athiest, and I am perfectly happy living my life without the curse of religion. But that's my own opinion. Just like your own views are YOUR own OPINION. If you are so in need of religious reinforcement, why aren't you spending your time looking at videos of other Christians? That way you can continue in your own delusion together, and leave us alone? We aren't hurting anyone with having our views are we? Bugger off.

  • @Stigmatibus You don't seem to get it. I don't NEED your god, or any other imaginary friend to live my life. So why on earth would I try to prove something *doesn't* exist when it is so uninteresting to me? Why do you have this *need* to try to get everyone on your side? Does it help reinforce the illusion for you if you can get others to agree on the same shared delusion? I wish you luck in your quest, but you are barking up the wrong tree, preaching at the uninitiated and unindoctrinated.

  • @Stigmatibus Surely the burden of proof for something that is already non-existent lies with you. Read about Sagan's invisible dragon in his garage and you may see what a circular argument you are proposing i.e. God directed the writing of the Bible, therefore the Bible is true, therefore God exists and directed the writing of the Bible.

The point is, whether you carry 100 gods in your head or none, it is not important, so long as you live a good life and try to help others while you're here.

  • @Stigmatibus I don't see how ego has anything to do with it. Surely you have to at least *imagine* that something which doesn't exist is real before you can believe in it? When we read stories, we use our imagination to create pictures in our minds to flesh out the story. Thankfully, common sense kicks in to determine which is probably real and which is fiction. But I accept that the Jesus shield is immune to logic or reason. However, if it makes you happy, I'm all for it. Peace.

  • @Stigmatibus I can't alter what your imagination chooses to believe. I can only look at world history, science, and supposed "holy" books written by men. There are around 20 major religions, and hundreds of smaller ones. To quote Stephen Roberts, "I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours"

  • @Stigmatibus Are you really willing to waste precious years of your one and only life on indoctrinated mystical nonsense? Grow up. Nobody is going to "save" you when you die, and "eternity" for you will be the same as for the rest of us. It stops when your heart does.

  • I have to pass on the BJ proposition, but I like the video.

    You missed some:

-You don't have to have old creepy men dip you in water and make an ass out of you in front of ppl you love.

    - You don't have to get married, ever!

    - You don't have to assume you know stuff you actually don't know.

    - You can watch tons of porn, listen to heavy metal, and just take a nap instead of feeling guilty.

    - You can watch the Harry Potter series... well, OK that benefit sucks, but still you can.

  • @shabido1 Brilliant comment! You're right. I should have made it "26 Things..." at least!

    :-D

  • @RobNorthampton Well there are tons more. There is plenty of room to make more videos about them. I never really thought about it, but not having to sit in those wooden pews is great. My back hurts just thinking about it.

  • atheist are stupid ... vverrrry stupid.

  • @TheThekilluminati7 Well, don't leave us in suspense. Give us the benefit of your advanced wisdom, and educate us as to why you think atheists are stupid.

  • @RobNorthampton i help you even tho you are a homo and i dont appreciate that. but some facts here for yall atheist/evolution believers just start with this: watch?v=nXMsXncm1X8

  • @TheThekilluminati7 Through his lavish skewed books and HD videos, Adnan Oktar has no doubt been able to pull the wool over many people's eyes. Ultimately, he is just trying to promote his own version of creationism. If you are at peace with an almighty creator of everything, fine. The rest of us are happy to remain "stupid" in your eyes.

  • @RobNorthampton Sounds like atheists dont want to be held accountable for anything in life!

  • @5tonyvvvv Morality is doing right, no matter what you are told. Religion is doing what you are told, no matter what is right.

  • @5tonyvvvv Sounds like you either don't know what atheist means, or are lying.

  • Awesome video, so much rang true. And you have nice eyes.

  • @MsDissonant Thank you very much. After a whisky or two, my eyes look like this

    +_+ ;-)

  • Now I see it, Atheist are just scared to believe.

About the cross, its a constant reminder that GOD loves us so much that he sent someone to die for us just so we can be saved. He sent Jesus to teach us the truth and the how we can still be saved. GOD knew that humans would kill Jesus but He sent Him anyways. So Jesus was sent here to die for us.

Whats crazy is that some people just believe that the universe just Magically existed and that life Just magically started without any creator.

  • @kodamsify No magic. Only science. Magic and imagination is your realm, my friend.

  • @RobNorthampton Science is unrealiable.

Just like my calculator dividing 1 by 3 in decimal form. Its flawed and some people just cant accept it.

  • The fact that it's not 100% reliable 100% of the time proves nothing. The fact that Newton, Copernicus, Einstein, etc have all been proven to be wrong on many aspects of their scientific theories so we continued to refine them until we found out a much more precise way of explaining our universe however proves that no matter how smart the writers of your book were, they were definitely far more wrong then the aforementioned geniuses and their works need be considered even less reliable.

  • @TheBlitMaster There were many writers, but only one author.

There was is word, but often misspoken by many tongues.

I hope you understand, cause if you don't then...

  • @kodamsify Is thou unable to admiteth defeat? Since you already admitted to being an immoral, ignorant, arrogant douchbag, whom spouts whatever comes out of his piss covered shitnozzle to suck his bibles nonexistent cock, in your last comment to me I see absolutely no obligation to try and fix the holes in your head where neurons should be. The fact that you were moronic enough to continue to reply tells me you need to go back to grade school before continuing your baseless assertions.

  • @TheBlitMaster You got mad just by that, man you're dumb. You see idiot, i've actually been exposed to some scientific researches. All of which were unable to explain how the universe come to existence without a creator. What you fail to understand(cuz ur an idiot) is that humans are created for GOD. We are the toys, pets and servants. Not the other way around. GOD doesn't kill people, He loves them, people kill people.

Im not saying Im smart, Im saying you're dumber than me and everyone else.

  • @kodamsify Awe, that's sweet. I love how you make another baseless assumption, this time hypothesizing with your feeble little elevator that I was upset at you instead of what I was really doing which was laughing my ass off at your stupidity. I find this comment even dumber because God killed people all the time in your holy book and you claim he doesn't, I see you also make another feeble minded assertion in that you call me atheist even though I've mentioned time and again that I am not.

  • @kodamsify The fact that you claimed we are slaves inside God's giant toybox and nothing more proves your idiocy even further. I will now conclude that you're incapable of thinking and you're only pretending to have studied the actual science as you padded all possible gaps in your knowledge with terribly written and dogmatic fairy tales that are worse than the bad work of a 4th grader in special education. So I'll ask you again. Is thou unable to admiteth defeat? Because it looks like you are.

  • @TheBlitMaster Well you see mr. Idiot, going against GOD is an act of suicide. It's like a soldier without a gun going up against an entire army.

And you see mr. Dumb, real scientist other possibilities that may explain Alpha. Even Einstein's theory of relativity with states that E=mc2, in which m=E/c2 is derived. Huge amounts of energy can be converted to tiny amounts of matter. So now the LAW of conservation of mass is now proven wrong by the THEORY of relativity. Proof of it is the A-Bomb.

  • @kodamsify Awe, isn't that cute, threatening me with your little God and then pretending to say real scientists don't use the scientific method to consistently test their hypotheses and develop a theory, then you state that one by-product of the theory is proof of it, and not the 100s-1000s of tests scientists do before any hypothesis can even be called a theory. Oh, and do you want to be schooled on your horrible butchery of Special relativity and General relativity?

  • @TheBlitMaster p.s I dont make baseless assuptions, unlike you. You're an idiot and you need to accept that. Even compared to other non-believers you still too dumb. GOD acts in ways inconceivable and incomprehensible to the human mind.

  • @kodamsify You've made several on this video. "GOD acts in ways inconceivable and incomprehensible to the human mind." (Thank you Jesus), so now you see why I consider all holy books as false.

  • @kodamsify No, God screwed up for the billionth time and thought sending a man to die in horrible agony would solve his problems. Apparently thinking that when it didn't work the previous 999,999,999 times he tried in the Old Testament that it would work just this once. It didn't. So what's God going to do next time? Kill a bunch of people in horrible agonizing ways, and somehow this would produce a different result. There's a word for this you know, it's called insanity.

  • @TheBlitMaster Well, reading your comment makes it clear that you do not know what they used to do back when they didnt believe in GOD. The people acted before they knew GOD was simply inhumane. Without the fear of being sent to hell, a lot of people would kill, steal and rape without restraint. Without Christ I would have probably become a muslim, and i would kill you for your blasphemy. Get it? Im not mad or anything, no hard feelings~

  • @kodamsify Most Muslims don't believe that crap either you know. Just because there's a few Muslim Extremists means nothing on how the majority acts on their beliefs. The fact that you're asserting you would do those horrible things without Christ proves to me that you aren't an honest or good Christian like you claim to be and we've both wasted our time by answering you and your impermeable ignorance, impenetrable incompetence, indestructible arrogance and infinite fellatio for your holy book.

  • @TheBlitMaster Try to make a muslim eat pig, lets see what they'll do to you.

  • @kodamsify Once again, depends on the Muslim.

  • You are forgetting that we don't believe in any of that, so you're wasting your time. You might want to try your local church. That is, if you agree with their particular denomination. Otherwise you could just fight amongst yourselves. Christianity preaches peace and tolerance, right?!

What's crazy is that some people just believe that God just magically existed and that he created light before there was a light source.

  • U r a great man.

  • @gemphu1234 U R a great commenter! I like you! ;-)

  • what came first?chicken or god?

  • @47crazed I'm still waiting to see evidence of any gods, but I regularly eat chicken.

  • Why are the CRETINS, worshiping the tool of their "god´s" EXECUTION!!!? Are they ALL INSANE, or are they simply LIARS, PRETENDERS and BUTCHERS of innocent lives!?

  • this pretty much sums up how you should try to live your life actually living instead of constantly thinking about what might happen when you die.

  • @ShadowMaskTheCat Yes. We may have to give up the free harp and cloud, or even the 72 virgins, but at least we'll have no worries, and a bit of peace and quiet! :-)

  • @RobNorthampton ^^ well said, sir.

  • The ending was particularly dreadful. Thank You.

  • @txvoltaire Hallelujah brother! :-)

  • Nice Video, Rob - Also, nice to get an English Atheist perspective - Most of the Atheist and Theist videos on here are from the USA. (I'm on the Isle of Wight).

  • @Uberlaser Thank you. If you want to be enlightened, educated and entertained by English atheists, check out two friends of mine on YouTube who are brothers, Qualiasoup and TheraminTrees. Just put their names in after youtube(dot)com/

They sum things up far better than I can. They are really worth checking out if you haven't already. - Rob :-)

  • Hmmm I think I'll change3 my career choice. Fast track to bishopdom.

  • @monkeytail2002 Ah Lambeth Palace. It's not a bad little place to hang your hat, is it? Free board and lodgings, and a fat wage packet to boot! And all you have to do for it is drag up in a white frock once in a while, and walk around with a simpering smile that says "I have Jesus". :-)

  • @RobNorthampton Aye it might do some good to have an atheist at the top ;)

  • you're awesome, man. subbed.

  • @Mikerulez101 Thanks Mike. Likewise, I'm sure. We have ourselves our own little Mutual Appreciation Society thing going on! :-)

  • @RobNorthampton definitely. now all we need is a ton more views! =P

  • im an atheist now i was a christian most of my life until i wised up and thought rationaly for a second and thought damn christianty is a lie i look to these vids to give me releif in a world that hates me for not beleiving in a god i like to know im not alone please excuse the bad spelling :) thank you making this

  • @cuboneI The world is a big place, and does not hate you for not believing in the tooth fairy, Santa Claus, or any of the biblical superheroes. They make for cute stories to feed children, but have little basis in fact. Although the UK is largely non-religious now, I long for the day when it has all died a natural death, and people can grow up and come to their senses. :-)

  • @RobNorthampton your a wise man thank you

  • death really sucks man nonexistence damn it. i'm even more depressed.

  • @TheLovesoul1 We're all heading down the same road unfortunately. The best we can do is enjoy whatever time we have here, and hope it's long! :-)

  • im a non-denominational christian. i do not go to church every sunday. To be honest, i hardly ever do.And i hav never heard of christians having to cast seeds on the ground all the time.I am free to stand for whatever political party i want also. Overall, there are no specific rules you have to follow when you are non-denominational. All christian beliefs are not the same. the reason i am a christian is because i believe all people have a chance at salvation & nobody is worthless.

  • @keijah010 The reason you're a christian is because like so many others, you want to feel the security of belonging to a "tribe". Any deities and stories of other-worldly places are just part of the package. But if you are desperately unhappy with the one life you're given, and can't wait for the "better place" (that doesn't exist) to console you, I'm happy for you.

  • @RobNorthampton I dont like belonging to any particular group.I used non-denominational because it means you dont belong to a particular christian denomination.I'm not sure if I even believe in the Christian afterlife.it seems a bit foolish to think there is one to me also.i'm very happy with the life that i have actually. No its not rainbows and butterflies everyday but im pretty content with it.Again,im christian because i know everyone has a bit of good in them & can change & better themselves

  • @keijah010 Can people not "change and better themselves" without being a Christian? I don't see how being of any religious persuasion automatically makes one a better person than a non-believer. I'm sure there are just as many people who call themselves 'Christian' languishing in prison cells as those with no beliefs. In the same way, there are just as many atheists who are running daycare centres, childrens' homes, are carers in the medical profession...the list goes on, but you get my point.

  • Yea 21 reasons why your going to hell.

  • @getalife67 Means nothing. You'd have to believe in such a ridiculous concept to even consider it. And by the way, it's spelt "you're", which is a shortening of "you are". The apostrophe denotes a missing letter.

  • hahahaha dude this video is great, I laughed :D Thanks for making me smile

  • @FilthyIcon Thanks for watching! :-D

  • dude..I respect your opinion...but having a religion isn't it our instinct?

  • @Adfa87 With equal respect, I believe that when you say 'instinct', you mean indoctrination. If someone has parents who spout religion from the day their babies are born, those babies grow into adults that have never known a life without religion.

  • @RobNorthampton

You know, people are made from compositions which are very similar to soil. The funny part is all that thing has been told about 1450 years ago in my religion. For me, it is impossible for human that era could have thought about it because the limitation of their technology. How could my religion told about those cases 1450 years ago?Hmmm...

    What say you dude?

  • @Adfa87 Malaysia is a mixed bag of religions, with Islam as the most dominant. The problem is that they don't allow people to think for themselves, and apparently, if someone who is a Muslim wanted to change their religion, they are 'rehabilitated' back into it. As with most religion, it is all about controlling the masses, and I don't agree with any of it. If people feel they they need a God to believe in, it should be their own choice. Why do they have to follow a rule book written by men?

  • ...it's because in countries such as yours, where state and religion go hand-in-hand, those who wield all the power want it to stay that way, so they can't allow anyone to challenge their status quo, and quickly stamp on anyone who tries to. Fear is their greatest tool. Christians live in fear of an imaginary hell, and Muslims know they could be beaten, stoned or ostracised from their loved ones if *they* don't toe the line. Either way offers no other choice but blind 'faith'.

  • @RobNorthampton Hmm you got your point there but dude, my question was how could the compositions of human were told about 1450 years ago? Don't you think it was impossible for human at that era to find out about it?

  • @Adfa87 In both the quran and the bible, (both Abrahamic faiths) they believe in a story of Adam and Eve as the first humans, and that God made Adam from the earth. It's not a huge leap of imagination to then assume that ALL people are made from the earth. Plus, even in those times, if a human was cremated after death, what was left was a pile of ash and dust, which just proved it for them. They didn't need science. They just made assumptions from what they'd been told and what they saw...

  • Because humans are made up largely of water, carbon, hydrogen and nitrogen, with a few other elements thrown in through evolution, we are truly completely recyclable. The stuff that we create may not be, (plastics, toxic waste etc.), but humans themselves all end up back as part of the earth, whether buried or cremated. It also helped the religions with their control of the people if they made people believe that they may have control over the earth, but that really they were just a part of it.

  • @RobNorthampton In other words, that humans have no real power, save that which their god deems them with. So they must believe in God or Allah, or he can take away what he has given them. It's a very clever plan which has worked well for them for generations. The answers all lie in the study of science, which is why it is religion's worst enemy.

  • i like you you seem like a nice guy! although i am obviously offended by some of the things you say because im a Christian and a preacher. this video kinda makes me sad not for you because your more righteous than alot of Christians or catholics i know but it makes me sad that bad christians with picket signs with awful sayings spread hate and make good Christians look bad! also that catholics idly hand money to the pope knowin he dont use the money right, the pope himself may have gate problems

  • @ineed1shotoflove I'm sorry that you feel offended. However, I am offended usually on a daily basis by news stories of so-called Christians who seem to spend their lives spreading as much hatred, misery and homophobia as possible, in order to get a pat on the back from their fellow haters. I know I shall never need any religion in my life in order to do right by people, but if others feel they need or want that level of control and fear in their lives to function, so be it. I wish you well, Josh

  • Lol Ahh the church roof fund!

  • haha its a great video! But jesus christ loves you man!! And you dont have to be a part of a religion, or church to have a relationship with God, its a big misconception that drives many people away. Anyways I wont preach to ya haha . I hope the absolute best for ya Rob. And I got a feeling you're gonna be allright . Be blessed my man and keep making these great videos !!!!!

  • @Kingrev21 Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, I would find it hard to have a relationship with anything that I don't believe in, church or no church. We are all told the stories as children, but as we grow up, we choose which to accept and which to reject. I guess I'm just not a great accepter of the fantasmagorical. We don't have to be clones of our parents or of each other. The diversity of thoughts and beliefs are what makes life interesting. But if you're happy, then I'm happy! :-D

  • Brilliant video. I admit was only half paying attention for the first minute, not expecting the video to be much different than many I have seen, but you got me to laugh and my attention with the seeds joke. And then to cap it off with that Mr. Bean audio that fit so well with your last item. Good job.

  • @FireDragons42 Thanks very much! I just read one or two comments on your channel page. The brainwashed never cease to amaze and amuse me all at once. 'Heaven or Hell's your only choice', 'Atheism is the work of Satan', and 'You exist therefore God exists' to paraphrase just three! Thanks for the chuckles! :-)

  • I can't believe you and others think that is the way to sow a seed! Drinking blood and eating flesh. Well, you just don't have a clue what EXACTLY that part means either! I guess I can see why some of you think "we" are crazy if that is what you think that really means! I don't have enough space here, but for example sowing a seed is tithing and many other things. DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT TITHING IS?! DON'T PASS OUT NOW, IT IS GIVING GOD 10% OF YOUR INCOME!! JUST DON'T HAVE ENOUGH ROOM HERE!

  • I'm an atheist from Northampton also! Woohoo!

  • Brilliant, brilliant video! I look forward to watching your other videos! I may have to show this to my very Catholic friend. I had an interesting convo with her. We were discussing how I was an atheist and how could I believe that. She asked if I hadn't seen a miracle when my mare had had her filly (who is almost 6 now). And I replied "No, I saw the result of a sperm an and egg!" and she just told me, "No offense, but that's sad." How is that sad? LOL

  • @darkduet Thanks for the comment! Theists love to try to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. It validates their belief system, and gives them something to ooh and ahh over. Mind you, I have seen the miracle of God crying and farting at the same time. It's called a thunderstorm! ;-)

  • GREAT VID MAN !

  • @THECuBANBEAzT Thanks Cuban! :-)

  • @RobNorthampton no problem man. ur humor is top notch and i subscribed.. i like how u have that old carless face about u.. its hilarious

  • Ironically, I know that if I were this "God", you'd be a prime candidate into "eternal salvation" for one simple thing you said during this:

"You can be a good person without worrying about scoring brownie points".

Really, god is more worried about suck-ups then people who are good people... because they WANT to be?

I laughed at the "you don't have to get on knees before anyone... unless you want to" *grins*

  • @Cindercheth I've said this before in a comment. so I'm sorry if you're seen it already, but one time when I asked a religious door-knocker why they did what they did, she replied, "To spread the word of God and do good". I said, "But all you do is annoy people. If you really wanted to do good, there's an old folks' home along the street. Go there and volunteer to wipe some shitty arses, then you could go home knowing you'd made a difference to someone's day" They weren't best pleased :-)

  • Some bogus ignorant mind controlling asshole ,want to be recruiting brainwashed arrogant preacher, destroyed and desecrated my Grandfathers funeral a couple of weeks ago. He spoke for 5 minutes about my Grandfather, after that, he preached of sin and how even children are sinners and unworthy of gods love. I was going to speak at his funeral, but anger arose in me. Recruitment during a funeral? You have to be shitting me. This is the aim of followers, indocrinate even during times of sorrow.

  • @strikenetter My sympathies go out to you. I hate the falseness of the religious preachers at funerals. Most of them have never met the people they are charged with dispensing, and yet they trot out the same spiel at each one. When my great aunt, (who had the role of grandma in our family) passed on, I actually had to walk out in the middle of the service because I felt so angry at the bollocks being spouted by the vicar.

  • @RobNorthampton I don't want to hassle you with my replies you popular devil, but i felt the same. I held back the boasting of BULLSHIT and a list of other cursewords out of respect for my family which didn't know the god damn preacher was disrespecting the funeral. I told my wife that when i die, i want to be cremated with no service, if such a service as this takes place im going to haunt her disrespectful ass! lol.

    Thanks 4 d vids Rob!

  • @strikenetter I had a cranky old gay friend, Archie, who died a few years ago, and the one thing he didn't want when he died was "some f**cking obsequious old preacher cloying over my coffin and saying how marvellous I was when he's never even f**cking met me!"

I arranged a Humanist funeral for him with his input before he died. The Celebrant opened the ceremony, I read a script I'd prepared about Arch, with a few laughs thrown in, and the coffin slid away to Archie's favourite Strauss waltzes.

  • haha...agree...except...I do like my feet...

  • @Poemsapennyeach I prefer a foot on the end of each leg too. Makes it so much easier standing up

    :-)

But getting cosy with someone else's? Er...nope :-)

  • @RobNorthampton You just haven't met the right feet Rob ...mmmnn (and don't reply that they were all left feet lol..)

  • A great video. I’m signing up and “favoriting”. Good job. If there were a god, I’d say “it” was a depraved pervert for watching everything we do.

  • @lc237 LOL I never thought about that before, but you've got a point! Thanks Lois! :-D

  • This is not founded on scripture (actual Christianity) GOOD BYE.

  • Thanks! I could only think of about 6!

  • @Astrobrant2 Thanks for both comments! I don't think there is any particular correlation between sexuality and atheism, but it maybe seems that way in the US. Gays are shunned by a large proportion of society there, who also often seem to be religious. Here in the UK, I work in a job with about 120 guys, and I only know of perhaps 2 or 3 who go to church, and the majority of the rest would happily call themselves atheist, or at least agnostic. Apart from myself, only about 3 or 4 others are gay.

  • The last I heard, only about 40% of UK citizens identify as having some sort of religion, but when you take into account all the sikhs, muslims, hindus and buddhists living here, it thankfully means christians are in the decline. Now if only we can educate the rest! :-)

  • Another point. Many people say there seems to be more gay people with each generation, as if "they" were putting something in the water, or something. :-)

I don't think there's any more per capita than there ever was. They are just more willing to come out these days with more education and less bigotry than even 50 years ago, when there were many more false marriages, and unhappy people because of it. There probably are more gays that are atheists, as religion holds nothing but condemnation.

  • everyone knows disgruntled homosexuals invented atheism

  • @suleimanazar HAHAHAHAHA! Thanks for the laughs! :-D

  • @suleimanazar yeah thats because everyone you surround yourself with is ignorant

  • @suleimanazar

    >"everyone knows disgruntled homosexuals invented atheism"

....says a guy who worships a naked hippie who died from being tortured to death.

Your trolling is made of fail and aids. Try to think up something plausible next time.

  • @suleimanazar and you ar proof of why brothers and sisters shouldn't mate

  • I subbed.. lol funny video.

  • @AgrivatedKillah Thanks very much! :-)
