  • LOL that fall made me laugh :']

You looked great though! And that is an epic fall to get on camera :P xx

  • @MintyBabesxo lmao xD epic fail on my part :P i was just pleased that i got it on camera, my mum thought i was sick laughing at my own pain :P lol xxx

  • LOL that fall was halarious! Oh dear you two are so amazing jodie <3 xx

  • @xHarleyxSCSxSJx lmao xD as falls go, that was pathetic! y thank you we definately are a one off :P you will never see a horse and rider like this again lol xD xxx

  • Oh dearrrr, you did it very gracefully it must be said! :L Rest of the session looks great though, he is SUCH a lovely chappy! xx

  • @Smarby very stylish :) the rest went quite well, although my riding isn't something to be desired :P but to be fair i don't get on well with bareback riding :P probs because i have only riding bareback 3 times in the 9 years of riding lol i value my saddle too much haha but no stirrups are fine no problem :) he is such a dude, he didn't like me falling off, looked at me as if i was stupid, he got that right :) xxx

  • that was a deffinate 'going, going, GONE' moment ;) haha, congratulations on one year :) and beleive it or not young Charles is quite dead to the leg :L I have worked out how to make him move and tend to send him loopy but new people struggle to get him into canter ect ect. But i have roller spurs too which help.. Good luck! :) x

  • @LaurennnSJ lol xD i new i was going which is funny because my mum could here me start laughing xD she thought i was sick to laugh at my own pain :P thats such a suprise he always seem so springy and hyper :) bless him, yes duke's owner wheres spurs riding him pointy ones so i will probs get some as soon as possible :) x

  • thats a good plan, i would recommend roller spurs if he is usually quite responsive, they are just a nice gentle reminder (specially if hes not used to them), then means you have the choice to use pointy ones if you need them! definately works well for me and mol but obvs you and the duke child are different =) i know exactly what you mean, long warm ups are the worst, mol tends to warm up nicely then get in the arena and go ahhh time for a chill and i'm like erm no time to work haha =) x x x

  • @mid14super lol well he is used to them, his owner wheres them usually :) and they are pointy ones :P he seems to respond very well to them makes him very bouncy so shall see what i can find. where abouts did u get yours? i normally buy everything on the internet but of cause they sometimes don't fit :P xxx

  • @DeneBeautyBower i got mine from ride away a shop only 5 mins from my house but they are big online shop too (rideaway.co.uk) they have quite a few different types of spurs to choose from and think they are quite quick delivery too! (mine are mark todd steel roller ball) hope that helps!! aww well thats great he already used to them makes it better for you if you know it will defo make a difference =) looking forward to hearing how you get on and seeing your summer video =) x x x x x x

  • @mid14super o brilliant that is huge help. i usually buy my stuff off of robinsons equestrian, but they dont always have a huge range to choose from and i didnt like the spurs they had :P i will have a look thanks, i need to put our year video up soon, don't want to over load lol but i have tons of clips for a summer video :D xxx

  • lovely video jodie =) congratulations on 1 year - you've both improved so much and obviously are very attatched to each other!! welldone on your test as well!! i can completely sympathise with the dead to the legness - mol is the same, i ride her in roller spurs at home and keep some pointy ones for shows as she gets used too them at home hehe then i have her a bit more awake in a test but its frustrating when she goes like a slug haha!! x x x x x

  • @mid14super thankyou so much :D exactly what my mum said today, "he's definately your horse" :) thanks, haha i was very suprised tbh. He has never done that to me before, usually a big kick and maybe a tap with the stick and he responds, but he was having none of it :P just taking it all in his own stride and time lol it could have been because of the warm up, to me it was a bit too long and he might have been a little tired, but i am going to buy some spurs then proberly use them occasionally..

  • @mid14super ..at home and then when out, just to get used to them :) he will proberly be more responsive as well when i jump him so it's something to try :) haha it is frustraighting, as i no duke can move when he wants to, it was just the wrong time to go like a slug :) xxx
