I am a big fan. But the myth making about this guy; especially since his death is just way over the top. Speaking of him in the same breath as Jesus? Come on, man. He was a great right though; no doubt about it. But he was a flawed man, like we all are and instead of idolizing his excess (which is fun to read about), I think he should be respected for being very good at his craft. Check out his piece on Ruben Salazar and the Chicano movement in LA during the 70's.
