this is a Halo ODST ( Orbital Drop Shock Trooper) Drop Pod and in the game Halo all the Drop Pods have parachutes. You can see this in Halo 2 in the Level Halo Delta.

Sry for my late answer. I dont know what pack because I have this rope piece already very long. But you must not you use the rope piece you can also use the steal rope.
