  • Great vid, can i ask how you mounted your camera to t he bike. quality seems excellent for what seems to be a bike mounted camera.

  • @gerzod I mounted the GoPro using the suction mount and stuck on top of the tank. Strangely, if I look at the camera is appears to bounce around but the footage doesn't show it. I think partly due to GoPro's inbuilt image stabilizer and partly due to the wide angle lens which nullifies bumps and straightens out tight curves.

  • super relaxing id imagine

  • @ColtonKuhn1 It is certainly nothing like riding the fine line between making the corner and not cause you didn't start braking soon enough. So there is less "oh geeze" involved. But it does require you to concentrate to read the road better so you can make the correct gear changes - pace riding, that is.

This road in general. Yeah, you can hit it hard or pace ride it which still requires concentration but is, as you said, somewhat relaxing while still being challenging & enjoying the scenery,

  • @michaelrossonline well i find that riding fast is relaxing and the feeling of knowing that you are making that corner perfectly in itself is relaxing. i have never gone sport bike fast because i ride a honda rebel 450 but they are light bikes and still very good in corners. when i ride the local twisties for a relaxing ride i dont look at the scenery i look to ride at a brisk pace but not to fast but everybody relaxes there own way i guess.

  • @ColtonKuhn1 You can ride fast enough to have the Option of looking (glancing) at scenery - or - sport bike fast where you get tunnel vision and don't, or can't, notice anything other than the road in front otherwise you'll come undone.

Pace riding, even fast pace riding, is relaxing. Sport bike fast, like on my Honda 919, can be fatiguing. Enjoyable yes, but more fatiguing, mentally and physically. But when you know a road like the back of your hand, ah, then it's all sweet :)

  • @michaelrossonline indeed ive been going on joyriding trips with people these last few days and have put 200 miles on my bike and its 30 degrees here haha my buddy who has a sport bike led because he was showing me a windy road i kept up with him pretty well. we were not going to fast because there was frost in the shade . was a nice ride though

  • Great riding! This is exactly how i ride.. I get mine into 5th and 6th then cruise.. no brakes.. no hard acceleration. Just a nice smooth ride..

  • @snooter28 Thank you. I get more enjoyment out of pace riding than screaming up to a corner, slamming on the breaks then diving in hard to make the bend. In this one I was in 4th gear most of the time, while riding this stretch on my GS500 Meetup video I was in 3rd for most of it. Some of the corners are just too sharp and slow for 5th or 6th gear. I find this style of riding makes you a better judge of the road as well. Love it!

  • @michaelrossonline Yeah. Occasionally I get my days where I scream through a few turns and get it out of my system, but it's always after riding through it a couple time and checking the road conditons, and it's always in well lit, dry, and corners i can see through.. Otherwise. I ride exactly like you..

  • so relaxing

  • Great video guy, beautiful countryside and drive very well. I live in Brazil, see my videos I'm starting to make them.

    hugs

  • nice gs, take a look at my 500 :)

  • I really wish I could ride my GS500! Need a new tank for it though.

  • nice moto & rider

  • @videosoti Thanks. It's a great bike. Rode this stretch again on Sunday while part of a larger 500km ride. The GS500 is just such a pleasure to ride. I think I'll have to do a Review video on it.

  • Nice riding. Would have been better without the music though - I'd prefer to listen to my own rather than yours, and I'd love to hear the bike! =D

  • Thanks.

I get lots of private and direct comments telling me how much people enjoy the music. As I try to match the Feel of the music to the type of riding - mellow for highway cruising and more upbeat for twisties, for example.

This particular video I tried a new camera mount which gave me a prominent rattling noise throughout. So I had to keep the bike's engine lower lest viewers were annoyed by the constant rattling.

  • Three of my videos stuck on 300 views. This one for a week now. Looks like YT still hasn't fixed the "stuck on 300 views" problem.

  • Good!)

    that for music?
