i remember this show it was preety good but they didn't market it right the time slot was to close to power rangers i would have put it like 30 min or a hour before power ranger i use to have all the toys to wow now im wishing i never threw them out i would have sell them on ebay

My Favortie line in the series is when the goofy guy said: "Through the teeth and over the gums, lookout Virus here we come." That and when the base playing surfer took over when the goofy kid left the series. The Goofy kid always said something new, while the surfer just always said: "Surfs Up!"

Awesome. I have never had the pleasure of seeing the Xenon transformation sequence. Even by modern standards, this show looks incredible! It blows Power Rangers out of the water, especially since the Ultraman-esque action has always been more believable--and certainly easier for kids to reenact. I really wish they'd run these on Jetix--I know for a fact kids would dig this show.

ABC on Saturday mornings? See, I knew Disney had something to do with it, but I seem to remember watching it for about two weeks weekday afternoons in 1994...I think on WGN. I had come across the toys in Toys'R'Us and Walmart before the summer but only discovered the show after school started in the fall. It went off the air pretty soon after that...

The robot that you're talking about is called Xenon, which is heavily influenced by original Optimus Prime from G1 since the director are major fan of G1.

P.S. Originally Xenon was meant to looklike Megatron or Starscream, but it was ultimetely turned out to be Optimus Prime, since it was director's favorite.
