lol - this is funny and entertaining! ;). Actually you helped my ideas with an essay - it was easier to understand postmodernism -  especially deconstruction of already existing ideas in order to examine the world as it exists today. Post modernism is a lead on from modernism - an almost revolt against it. Its taking ideas from modernism and challenging and questioning these. Great artists that work in this arena include Jeff Koons and Barbara Kruger.

I did a lot of research prior to making this video so the content here is essentially what I discovered...however my conclusion is genuine - I don't really understand postmodernist art as the term is applied to such a wide variety of ideas, media and concepts.

Yes even the term 'Postmodernist' is confusing. There is an art movement called 'Modern art' and 'Postmodernist art' is basically after that - which is about 1950 onwards (stupid I know especially as modern art dates back to the late 19th century - how can anything that old be called 'modern'?). Arty people never make sense anyway!
