Yes there wasn't a lot of depth to it. We started out making as a simple budget game so I could blow all the memory on graphics. I wanted to make the biggest sprite on the spectrum at the time. It caught some attention and was blown up to a full price game.
Hmm, it's been a zillion years since I last played it, so I might be looking at it with the rose-tented glasses. But by the standards of the time, it certainly wasn't bad. It was the exploration element that kept me hooked. And the discovery some lifts could move up as well as down.
Oddly, the instructions seem to be missing from World of Spectrum, but as I recall, the reason for the time limit is that for some reason, Trantor had bodybombs sewn under his skin to keep him on task. Visiting the terminals and collecting items also reset the clock, adding a measure of strategy to the game, resulting in one of those pretty pixelly explosions the speccy did so well.
Where is the episode when one is actually playing this game?!

Cheers mate - but the game itself is not as good as the intro. It was a decent game back in the day - but there were plenty of better ones.

Oh, that's certainly not fair. It was gorgeous, colourful and more than playable.
I never even got close to finishing it, but I had a lot of fun trying.

Really? It was a nice looking game but didn't really have much depth to it I reckon. It's reviewed on our BLOG if you're interested!

Jajajajajaja!!! La verdad que si, para ser una Spectrum la verdad que es un juego con una intro muy elaborada. Saludos desde Argentina!
