Even though family bakgrounds can play a part in a child behavior its still not an excuse for these boys to be like this. I grew up with a violent dad in a overly controlled environment. The only reason y my life got better cuz my dad found out he could go to jail for beating us. I still turned out to be a good person. Its all up to the individual. I don't believe in counseling. The only counselor or mentor is one self. I just hate it when trouble kids blame their parents for how they turn out.

@ lakoolzika: high school in Korea starts around 7-8 and ends around 5, and afterward there's extra studies until 7-9 for kids who study hard (most). Then the students go to hagwon (prep school) which used to go on till midnight and afterwards. but I heard prep schools after a certain time are becoming illegal because students aren't getting enough sleep

Surprisingly Tiffany seems is much sterner than Taeyeon. But then again, the girls did say that Taeyeon's one of the most logical ones in soshi. Maybe she's just being lenient for now since Huihoon is the youngest. Anyway, as compared to the others, I like the way Hyoyeon handles Yonghyun the most. It really gives a noona-dongsaeng vibe and Hyoyeon seems to really get Yonghyun.

@nsaf233 In Taeyeon's case, being "logical" doesn't necessarily mean "stringent." It can mean that Taeyeon is maybe more aware of the human side to people, that certain consequences come from certain things (like how some of these boys don't have their parents around, or how some have bad influences). I like that Taeyeon isn't just being judgmental like Seohyun; she knows that some matters (like getting over bad habits) is difficult for every single human being. :)

taeyeon is a great mentor. she's taking things at a much slower pace, but it's a little tough since our impatient seohyun isn't willing to give it a longer time- she's like "hurry this and thurry that". like what someone said, she's never smoked at such a period so she wouldn't understand

i like this showw, very interesting (and love snsddd!) but my main problem is that they've never smoked, or drank before so telling the boys to quit cold turkey and say it should be easy is a little.. i dunno :s

for example, when seohyun told her boy to quit 5 days instead of 3 and saying it'll be easy is a bit unfair since he was a regular smoker and she's never smoked before (obviously :P)

but yahh not hating here! just giving my opinion xD

I get the whole point of the show and i get the "stop drinking and swearing"- thats habit mostly (they're not alcoholics yet, just party drinkers) but they should lay off a bit about the smoking. It IS an addiction, its an uncontrollable need. Quitting on the spot- cold turkey- isn't going to help, they'll have serious withdrawals and there arent any aids like nicotine patches given to them. I think the girls SHOULD still push them to Quit, but get that its totally NOT going to be easy for them.

I understand that it is really hard for the boys to quit smoking and alcohol since it became their habit you can't ask them away to quit instantly usually for alcoholic drinkers and smokers what they do is decrease the amt. little by little until the person is able to totally quit from it, It's like taking medicine you can't discontinue the drug immediately but what doctors do they just lessen the dosage....
