  • How about the fact that the OT laid out the need for atonement (Genesis Chapter 3), the pattern of sacrifice and the need for a Perfect Lamb to reconcile a tainted creature back to God. The OT is riddled with what was to come. Atonement was necessary to give man a way to reconcile with the Father.
