The other three were puzzle games with some combat, and even then a very free style combat system. Now, they've taken it too a Mortal Kombat fighting system with barely any puzzle.

They completely missed the point. The original Prince of Persia's focused on acrobatic combat to begin with, but in a far more down to earth and not some ridiculous mortal combat format. Secondly, the PoPs also focused on puzzles that actually required you to think to beat them. PoP 4 misssed the point entirely.

It sucks that it finished off old trilogy in Two Thrones. COmpletion of that game was a real triumph! That last boss was just so annoying. Destroy his wings, he flies up, you chase him up on levitating rocks and BOOM! Your hit off because he's too quick.

you just have to keep running on the floor

and when he shot 3 light bombs then you go up

he will miss his shots all the time after that

(whe you play hard mode he wont miss exept if you roll allot

The graphics have the idea to look like artworks, i didn't like that much, the only good thing is that the game is now more related to fantasy than ever, that is not bad but disapoints those who were waiting a realistic fighting game.
