Indeed, Evos are not ideal for top speed. Not because of AWD or whatever, but because they're shaped like a box instead of being slippery and wedge shaped.

It's all about aerodynamic drag at those kinds of speeds.

However, jam enough power in and you can still get up there. There's an Evo 2 on YT doing a 221 mph standing mile. Still AWD, still 4G63.

Why didn't you listen when I told you to shut your mouth? Of course you can find cars that are faster, but implying that the car will be slower purely because it has AWD is utter stupidity. AWD has an inherent problem with tighter corning so it is going to push a company striving for a better handling car away. Therefore you're left with RWD cars get the proper speed treatment.

your both dumb, the Evo cant get much faster not because ts an AWD but because its a rally car, rally cars are restricted to a 2.0 Liter 4 cylinder engine therefore leading to races that actually depend on drivers skill rather than car vs car.
