I like watching the 70's Pink Lady concerts - all of their songs sound better live than in a studio recording. For anyone who likes the MM version more, at least consider watching an older clip of these two singing the song, like when they were in their 20'! :P

I remember Pink Lady's attempt to come to the American Market. They would have done a lot better here if they had never attempted TV or if they had stuck strictly to the Japanese. We knew they were from Japan and look at those two, who really cared what they were saying. The music sounded good and they had voices that were pleasant to listen too.

I beg to differ, at least on the music anyway. If "Kiss in the Dark", PL's only American single had been released a year or even six months sooner than it had when Disco was still popular, it would've done much better than it had. As it was, cracking the Top 40 was an accomplishment in itself. Also, a Japanese language release in the States just wouldn't have worked because I imagine a LOT of people would've cared what they were saying.
