@goofygoober67 I wish I had my waterbed back! I loved it and got a great night's sleep. The thing is to make sure that the water you put in will be enough. When it is right, you should not be able to touch your knee to the bottom of the mattress when you kneel on it. They are just sooooo comfortable, I found. Some you can get are a water bag inside a zipperable mattress. Hope this helps you decide. Have to check, too, if you are allowed on in your apt., if you rent.

i have one king sized and getting rid of it because they are not comfortable to keep sleeping on. no matter how much you fill it to firmness over time it starts to wave and dip more especially with more then one person. i can even tell when my cat jumps on the bed and shes only 3 pounds.

I had waterbeds for years until th ex decided we should "grow up" and get a regular bed. I was a truck driver, my back hurt every night with expensive mattresses. Nw she's gone and I have a waterbed. Bought it used for $100, and bought a new heater, mattress and liner. Full motion is what I like best, my back is great. And cold winter nights with the window open a bit, in a warm bed...its great. I find it's great for sleeping on, but nothing else one usually does in a bed.

@SuperKare123 Forgive me for butting in but a super single is 4'3" outside measurements without padding on the rails. A queen is 5'3" and a king is 6'3". Inside measurements are 3" less (about). The length on all 3 are the same for the same style bed. Best I recall the actual mattress is 7' long. Then you have the foot and head pieces. If your pressed on length then get a flat headboard (like in the vid called a "5 board bed"). You can get different heights too. Softside beds are smaller.

@SuperKare123 If your a younger person or sleeping single I'd suggest a free flow. If you don't like it then your not out much to replace it. Adjust the temp only 1 degree every 24 hours to adjust. Also listen close to the salespersons instructions on the amount of water. Buy the biggest bed that will fit in the space. Years ago the price was the same for a Queen or King.
