@ILiveToRemember 3-5 seconds is really all you need. Its said around 80-90% of the THC from the smoke is absorbed almost instantly by your lungs in that 3-5 seconds. If you count from when he pulls his slider to when he exhales its 3-5 seconds. Any longer than 10 and you just hurting your lungs.

You should try it one time. just smoke a bowl or a joint hold each hit for 3-5 seconds and see if you get as stoned or more stoned compare to what you normally hold it. Unless you are a real cheap ass!

I think the moment you release that slider. That is the start of the smoke entering your body. so from that point to the exhale is the time it takes. Marijuana can't kill brain cells. THC is very compatible with the chemistry of the brain.
