  • thanks for the tutorials, they have helped in a big way, but I'm having a problem all of a sudden in blender, when i am editing my character and i press CTRL+Z to undo something it makes my character disappear instead of undo, i have to bring up scale properties in order to get it back to normal size, and that ruins the synchronization with the characters clothing. i tried to re open the file and its like that even though i didn't save the file after the error. do you know why it is doing this?

  • ok well now the second eye stays until i close the window and bring it back up ant then its behind the original. can u help please?

  • i accidentally maid both eyes at the same time. so when i parent the left eye the right eye gets parented too. ive tried deleting the right eye and copying the left and mirroring that but it didnt fix it. is there any way to sever the connection with out having to create a new eye?

  • @YokoLink never mind. it hit me with ur foot shape in 21. i used the "s,x,-1" it works now ^_^"

  • @YokoLink select the eye go into edit mode select either the left eye or the right eye (either is fine) press P and choose selected and it sould make the eyes different objects :)

  • Hey is it possible to parent the eyeballs to the armature eyes after the armature has been bound to the mesh? for some reason i cannot select the eyeballs while in edit mode for the armature.

  • at 14:48, the copy location rotation i cant get to work. if i press ctrl c i get different options. and i cant seem to rig it manually adding a constraint in the menu.. plz help

  • @hyrenata You're supposed to press Alt+Ctrl+C.

  • after i parent jaw and face to head, i press TAB, and it keeps moving around, even when i do clear rotation and location PLZ HELP!!!!

  • heyy i have problem when u trying to do the jaw oppening trick i tryed to do the same thing and when i press ctrl + c my menu doesnt look like yours? but then i go to the constrains drop down menu and hit copy loc and rot and the set the number to 0.4 nothing happens it is exactly like at the start any ideas?

    at 22:05 i cant seem to rotate the jaw the same way you do.

    when i rotate it it only rotates on the y axis. is there a setting or button that i have to use to rotate it like that?

    other than that this is the best/easiest/ most efficient rigging i've ever seen

  • @Ward7299: Rigging has always been one of my weakest points in any 3D modeling program. Mostly for the Facial Animation concerns.

    Your rig seems pretty good for what it is needed for. I'm gonna try and duplicate this in Maya 2009 and see how well it works out there.

    @Acdizzle1: Blender is not really as hard to use as it looks like it would be. Sure there is a little learning hump but after that it really gets easy fast.

    Try it out and maybe you'll surprise yourself.
